This is a 10/10 star review. This is also going to be a long and detailed review because I really want to share how amazing my bridal dress shopping experience was at Natasha's.
I just started bridal dress shopping and going to Natasha's Elegant Bridal was my 2nd store. I had a day off today and really wanted to look at Provonias dresses so I have been spending a lot of time hunting down a retailer that carries this designer. I live in Bothell so the closest retailer to me was Edmonds. I contact that Edmonds bridal shop last night and still haven't heard back. My sister and I started searching this morning and stumbled onto Natasha's elegant Bridal shop. I was hesitant at first to drive all the way down but after having an amazing first impression from Natasha, I was excited to drive to check her shop out. I knew that her shop would be opened around 11am so I went to her website and fill out an appointment request form. Within minutes, Natasha calls me and ask if I would like to come in today to try out some dresses. She was very friendly, personable and easy to talk to on the phone. She asked that I text her some pictures of dresses I really liked so that she could pull them and get to know me better. She was also very accommodating when I told her that I had another appointment scheduled today. She offered to take me after my first appointment so I set an appointment with her.
When my bridal party and I got there, we were immediately welcomed by Natasha. She walked her in and placed her in the fitting area all the way in the back of the store closest to the Provonias gowns. We pulled a few gowns and then I was introduced to Daina. OMG! Working with Daina was amazing!! She went above and beyond the entire appointment. She was very attentive and really observed and ask the right questions to get me going in the right direction anytime I started getting overwhelmed. I fell in love with the 2nd dress I tried on. Although the dress wasn't in my size, Daina was able to clip and use extra fabric to give me a visual of adding 3/4 quarter sleeves to the dress. Natahsa also joined in and gave a few pointers about each dress I tried on.
Because of the attentive, knowledgeable, and personable service I received and finding the dress I have been dreaming of, I had to say YES to one of their Provonias dresses. I came in with no intention to buy but Natasha and Daina really went above and beyond and made this shopping experience truly memorable for me. My bridal party and I were having so much fun that we didn't want to leave. I really felt supported and appreciated as a customer and future bride.
I sincerely hope that you check out Natasha's Elegant Bridal and be sure to ask for Dana! You will be missing out if you do not check this amazing...
Read morePros: the owner knows her job better than any of the other places in Washington I went to. She understands fashion, can take one look at your body and know what works for you/what won't, understands what you are looking for better than you do, and steers you in the right direction. Her assistant that helped me was absolutely lovely and very kind. If that is what you are looking for and you are at the end of your dress shopping journey/able to make a decision relatively quickly, this might be the perfect place for you. I'm giving this four stars despite the long paragraph below for these reasons.
Cons: no photos are allowed, and they don't give you the name of the dress or the designer if you find a dress you like. My mum and sister, who came with me, told me afterward that they asked to see photos of me in dresses from other shops, which is even more strange considering their own store's policy (for what it's worth, of the many other shops I went to, only one other had a no-photo policy, but even then, the owner told us before we came that she would take photos herself and e-mail us promptly afterward - she was concerned that if we took photos, it may not represent the dress/the designer well but she understood the importance of knowing how a dress photographs). Ultimately, all of this cost them a sale. I understand where they are coming from, that I could buy the same dress somewhere else if they gave me the information, and they do have a business to run. However, while I loved the dress I found with them, the lack of photos/not knowing how I photographed in it meant that was I was unable to really think about my decision and compare it to others. Had they allowed us to take photos, I probably would have come back three days later to try it on one more time and bought it. It felt like they were trying to cash in on my emotions instead of allowing me time to think about a large purchase, which I always sleep on before buying. Because of all this, I spent a decent amount of time searching for a dress I liked more. They made my job hard, so once again, they really know what they are doing! But I did ultimately end up finding one I liked significantly more, and I am glad because even though it cost me more, it was worth it since otherwise, the dress I found with them would have given me a bit of a sour feeling with the...
Read moreI went in here with high expectations based off of previous reviews. The shop itself was absolutely beautiful. Danna helped me with my appointment and was very attentive, caring and sweet. We narrowed it down to 2 dresses I really liked but they were both not exactly what I was looking for. They informed me that there wasn’t any other dresses in the style (boho)I was looking for. I informed Danna that they both weren’t my dress and I’d like to think it over or come back for another appointment. Once I communicated this another worker (I can’t recall her name) came over as well. They than both started to almost tag team me saying if I didn’t buy today there is a price increase on March 1st and I would be getting the lowest price today. Which fair enough if that was the truth but seemed very convenient. But I also am not going to purchase a dress that I’m not 100% sure on. My bridesmaids and mom also tried to pull other dresses to possibly help and were scolded by Natasha that they are not allowed to pull anything which seems odd to me. Also no photos are allowed nor are you allowed to know the name or style of the dresses I did like. So if I did want to think it over and look at photos of myself in the dresses I have no choices. The day after Natasha texted me saying it was nice to have us in and to return when I was ready to purchase. I just plain did not like the pressure that was put onto me. This is one of the biggest choices during a wedding and I just felt...
