Nick's Mini Golf - Nick's Dinoland Golf — Local services in Fenwick Island

Honestly, the price this cost, the dinosaurs should scare the crap out of us. The cashier wasn’t friendly at all. When purchasing tickets and was told the price, for one adult and 2 kids, I was told golf is expensive. But it also seemed that this was the going rate for three golfers; regardless of age. It was packed, but went fast. Not one dinosaur moved or roared. Which was the whole point of going there. We LOVE the Millville boardwalk and should have went there like always instead of trying this place. All of the beginning holes were very hard and got easier as the game went on. Not fun when you’re with young kids. Did I mention, not one dinosaur moved, roared or lit up. I’ll never go back again. I guess nicks is just another “chain”…. smaller businesses are so worth it they care more about our experience rather than banking off of every dollar they make from us for themselves. I wold not...

Was really looking forward to this course with my nieces. We went specifically for the animatronic dinosaurs- However, only one of the dinosaurs actually worked which was at the very first hole. None of the other motion sensors activated any of the other dinosaurs. We spent 65 dollars for 5 people to play golf and only found out as we played that all other dinosaurs (except for the small one at the first hole) weren’t working. When we asked the employee why the dinosaurs weren’t moving his response was, “because they scare the children.” What’s the point of having them? If the dinosaurs aren’t going to be on, the customers should be told this before paying the exorbitant price for this mini golf course. Could have been a cool experience but ended up being very disappointing and way overpriced. If you’re going for the animatronic dinosaurs, I’d recommend skipping this, or make sure they are operating...

The staff was accommodating in allowing us to come back the next day at a different location since it was middle of the day scorching outside and my kids were miserable. Before the heat got to them though, in the few holes we made it to. All the holes were on an incline, risen up from the rest of the green. It made it impossible for my kids to get the ball in. Even me & my dad. We're not mini golf pros or anything, but the design of the course was not enjoyable and we were all taking 4 & 5 swings on the 3 or 4 holes we got to before they were all complaining that it was too hot. The staff member at the course I would give a 4 and the lady I spoke with on the phone, but I would have given 2 stars for the actual game play. I wish I had thought to take a few photos to show...
