Update Thursday April the 4th 2024, this is our second trip and it was a little worse than our first. Service was very slow, they weren't exceptionally busy but it took forever after we were seated to be greeted. Food came out pretty fast. Everything seemed to be super super salty? The cheese enchilada was not melty melty like you would expect, the cheese was a little granular on the inside you know kind of firm and not melty melty. Diet Coke, fail just like last time, however that seems to be a trend with fountain Coke anywhere you go these days so not really the restaurants fault but ... My chimichanga was okay but again nothing special. Had to wait forever to check out even after the manager came by to check on us. All things being equal 3 months between visits fairly new place gave them a second chance sadly we probably won't be back. We're really looking for a decent Mexican restaurant that's consistent and reliable if that's what you're looking for this may not be it. We were greeted at the door by a friendly hostess who promptly seated us gave us menus and got our drinks. Then another very pleasant server brought out chips and salsa. Our server took our order and was very accurate in taking it. They were a bit busy with a couple of large parties so it took longer than you would expect but about right for how busy they were. A different server brought our food out and my wife's order was completely wrong The only thing on the plate that was correct was rice! My order was accurate. Our original server came over and promptly corrected the errors from the kitchen. I feel certain it was an error with the kitchen staff and not our waitress as she was very particular and read our order back. I had the beef burrito and a pork taco. They were about what you'd expected from any run of the mill Mexican restaurant, nothing was exceptional but it wasn't too bad. The tamale it was a little iffy kind of burnt on the ends and a little mushy on the inside but overall not a bad tamale. My wife was okay once they got the order right. Diet Coke was a little off. The sweet tea was good. The manager came by our table to check on us I stumbled a bit when he asked if everything was okay and he caught on, but I told him that the server had taken care of everything and it was fine. All in all we'll probably go back take another whack at it. It's a very familiar building as the barberitos used to occupy that same space. They do have a nice little outside seating area. Your mileage may vary.

The calm and pleasant restaurant experience is complimented by an exciting food menu with a sit-in bar offering a variety of drinks and comfortable sitting stools. Great options for the adventurer of Hispanic cuisine. Spacious seating and high ceilings add-on to the comfort. Every staff member is respectful and attentive, providing service in a timely fashion and always with a positive attitude. Visits have been between 1200-1330 and the wait is no longer than 15 minutes from being greeted, to sitting, (washing hands) to food on the table. Location is well positioned giving 2 parking options allowing for convenient access to additional shops.

If you’re craving Mexican food- this is the place. Super fresh, very VERY tasty. We couldn’t stop eating because the flavors were so full! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re definitely missing out! We needed a Mexican restaurant that cares about the quality of their food versus the quantity they can quickly push out…(peppers) Staff is wonderful and attentive and not overbearing or trying to rush you out either. Had a wonderful and flavorful date night with my hunny. (The margarita and sangria was on point too!)

Unbelievable! If you are looking for real authentic Mexican food come to Don Patron. The best way to tell if your meal is going to be authentic or just another chain knock off, is by the salsa. The chips were crisp and the salsa was fresh and flavorful. We ordered the special margarita.....Paco the manager made it. It was perfectly crafted with just enough Patron and citrus. We could have ended there with a 5 star review but decided to try the carnitas plate and split it. Our server Liliana, brought out a huge plate of perfectly crisp carnitas, refried beans, rice and lettuce, homemade guacamole and Pico de Gallo. Thank goodness we decided to split it. The carnitas was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We had plenty of crispy ends to share. The prices were more than reasonable. Great quality and very large portions. Overall between the service and food we would give it 10 stars. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was very friendly. This is no chain restaurant. We would love a Don Patron in Melbourne FL. If you decide to open one down there, bring Liliana and Paco or cloan them, they are a wonderful asset to the restaurant. We will...

I’ve been to the new location twice before. First time was mediocre, second was pretty good. I usually give a new restaurant 3 times before turning away permanently. I always order the same thing, the Popeye. (We usually go to the Yulee location) I ordered it tonight and it was extremely bland. The chicken had no color to it, no seasoning or even a visual that it was even cooked. It smelled like canned chicken and tasted as so. I took one bite and was disgusted. The waiter never came around to check on anything until my husband was almost finished with his meal. Which he then asked me if I wanted a box, I told him I didn’t want the meal, it was uneatable and bland. He apologized and took the plate. Drinks were never refilled. When we got the check we were charged for the meal that wasn’t even ate. So, unfortunately we wont be returning. It is a bummer because the inside decor is nice and it’s in a...
