No available Handicapped Scooters...no door greeter...found a scooter, finally, and it made it to the middle of the fresh food and it died. Sat on the scooter 15 minutes, four employees that COULD have stopped and asked if I needed assistance... DIDN'T! I abandoned the scooter, hobbled to the bench outside the hair salon....and an additional two employees walked past the dead scooter, without any further questions... beeping it's low battery tone. As another mobility challenged lady appoached and asked to sit down, she tried to flag down another employee to get her a scooter. She waited 15 minutes, and no one stopped to offer her any assistance, dead Handicapped Scooter still beeping. Another employee came in that was retrieving carts from the parking lot and then went over to the dead Scooter and attempted to get it to the charging station...two boys came over, picked UP THE SCOOTER WITH THE GIRL EMPLOYEE ON IT AND CARRIED SHE AND THE SCOOTER TO THE SCOOTER RECHARGE AREA!!!!! I am FED UP with the henious employees at this store, flippant attitude, inability to WORK and/or provide ANY FORM OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT...
Read moreI love Meijer, however their care on the fish is horrible. I recently went to Meijer and was looking at the fish when I saw one of their bettas suffering from most likely swim bladder and popeye. I decided to take him since I had the stuff to treat and care for him. I asked staff for a discount on him because if I didn’t take him he was going to die. Even she was unsure as to if he was alive or not and had to poke him to make him swim since he was just laying at the bottom of the cup. She also stated that she was even unsure of how often they got fed (it was not her fault at all because she was apart of a different department) They took $5 off, but he was still $10. I got everything set up for him, warm water, kanaplex, Indian almond leaves, prime, etc. But with no improvement he still died 3 days later. This could have easily been avoided if the staff had just taken care of the fish and fed them like they are supposed to. Now I’m down $20 for the fish and supplies, and have...

If I'm paying a fee, like the other stores, I expect better than having to go into your store, stand inline, have people breathing down my neck, wait for someone to go retrieve and bring order to where I wait IN STORE, pay for it on a payment system that isn't cleaned between uses, and the walk back out and across the lot to an assigned spot "for pickup"?
Edit: Their curbside pickup has vastly improved in the past year. Only issue (minor) is their...
