Cold food because it sat too long, all while two nearby tables, filled with people, who came long after us, got their food long before us. My wife got her salad but no dressing until we asked a 2nd & 3rd time. Meanwhile our waitress was coming & going without bringing the dressing. I never did get my salad at all. At some point, both of the nearby tables complained about their burned fish, saying there wasn't anything left unburnt to eat. My wife got her crab legs (rubbery) and baked potato at the same time my flounder and Brussels Sprouts arrived (both cold) She immediately pulled a hair out of the butter that was meant for the potato so, of course, the waitress took that away. It took several more minutes for her replacement butter to arrive while the potato got cold. When I finally was able to get our waitress' attention to tell her that I hadn't gotten my baked potato, she told me that she would put in my order for a baked potato. I think they actually had to bake another potato for me. Meanwhile, the rest of my food was now room temperature. Cold fish & cold sprouts, YUM! The potato was the only hot thing I had to eat. The manager came out and comped our meals and gave us a $20 gift card. The funny thing is, we had been trying to find a time to use two $25 gift cards for this place. We now have $70 worth of gift cards that we will probably never use and would feel guilty...
Read moreFirst of all I must say service is the essence of any business and Red Lobster literally failed if not beyond the fact ... my wife ordered a filet mignon and asked for steak sauce and sour cream for the potato that came with it , she waited 20 min for the steak sauce and sour cream plus drink re fills , well low and behold her dinner was cold and we were without drinks during this period . The restaurant was not busy and they had sufficient amount of servers on the floor also , we were then approached by a manager who was kind and expressed his regards for the lack of service , we got the meal taken off but we were still charged for our drinks and the appetiser , honestly me and my wife are business owners and customer satisfaction is our bottom line , we should have got the entirety of the meal for free due to lack of service plus the cold food . The Ahi Poke was NOT Ahi Poke , I’m from Hawaii and I make poke myself , I also was a fisherman aboard a boat and Ahi and Aku was our main catch , the quality of Ahi was poor and what to speak of...
Read moreFirst off, I actually like Red Lobster. It's not gourmet cuisine by any stretch, but it is generally good food at a reasonable price. That being said, this particular location has got problems. Almost all of the issues I had here have to do with the service and how the establishment is run. First, you are going to have to wait to be seated. All the time. Regardless of how busy it is. You can look into the seating areas and see empty tables and booths for days. However, the management undercuts the scheduling so they are always short servers and thus, you have to wait. Second, their hostesses are either confused and elderly or too young and clueless. Onto the waitstaff themselves who are largely hit and miss. Have had good and bad. One server was clearly resentful that I asked her to refill my drink twice which seemed a rather minor request to become petulant about.
1 star off for the constant waitlisting, another for the hit and...
