I will begin by saying I read the positive reviews and negative, but decided to give this salon a shot anyway. Some people told me that the nail techs were rude, but still I proceeded on. I had made an appointment to get a fill of my acrylics that were done by a salon I frequent in my hometown. Since I am new to Findlay, I haven't been to any salons here in town yet. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, and signed in to see there were a number of walk-ins that ha arrived just before I did that wanted new full-sets. Despite me having an appointment, every single walk-in was seen before me. I was ready to walk out and go to a different salon when I was finally helped 45 minutes past my appointment time. The tech himself was male, I asked his name and he never answered me. I handed him my car before he started and told him I wanted the color I selected just on the tips of my nails. I again, was ignored. He ran my card (the service was extremely overpriced compared to other salons in town!) and then came back to start my color. He painted the entire nail, and when I said something, he told me putting the color just on the tips is $5 more and he can't run my card again. Are you kidding?! I was even willing to give him another $5 cash but again he refused and said he couldn't do it. At the end of my horrific service I graciously tipped him and was shooed off to the dryers without even a thank you. After drying I noticed the color is uneven and sloppy, being thicker in some spots than others. At this point, I'll pay less money to go somewhere else for a much better service. Friend and I went in for pedicures after work. One other client at the manicure table otherwise nobody there. Tell me why Crystal RUSHED the entire pedicure! My feet were in the water for maybe 30 sec TOTAL! she instantly started in going as fast as she could. I asked for light purple big toe and silver glitter for the rest. She put MAYBE two coats on each nail and no silver base or anything for the glitter nails. Had to argue with her so much to add more layers. Can still see how thin the purple nails are. She also over cut my big toes to lead towards ingrown nails and undercut all my other toes. They already need trimmed down because she hardly touched them. I got intense pain yesterday and realized there was a very sharp jagged piece of my big nail already stabbing into the side. I barely got an exfoliation of the foot. I got slathered in lotion to the point that my foot was sliding so badly in my shoes and I had to start rubbing in the lotion to other parts of my body because there was so much. I will never be back! I'm shocked this place has such high reviews for the area! My friend came with me and she was cut numerous times to the point of bleeding and they repeatedly sprayed her with alcohol causing intense pain for her. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. I'm new to bowling Green and was looking to get my nails done. This place was a 35 minute drive for me but the reviews where good and I wanted to treat myself. So I made an appointment, showed up on time, and was quickly seated. Half way through my acrylics, a woman can in and asked for the guy seeing me. He stops mid hand and passes me off to another person that was currently already seeing someone. I found this extremely rude since it was my first time coming and was receiving services that would have me coming back. I've been to other places and had pass off to be painted but I'm telling you it was mid job; mid hand!! Then the next lady ruined them. She messed up the shape and had the sloppiest panting ever! Also she didn't clean my nails before painting so I'm covered in dust and my nails are bumpy. Then when I went to leave they tell me then they added $10 for shape!! Mind you I'm a server and tell a customer about a .75$ upcharge and they didn't even mention the 25% increase. If you are looking to waste your time and have horrible service than this...
