BUYER BEWARE: MANY ITEMS CAN NOT BE RETURNED.

I purchased a bug-a-salt gun that was , I tried to return it but they suddenly inform me that the item is not returnable because it was used. Maybe this is how it is for anything with co2 canisters, but this is a toy for killing bugs with salt, not an actual bb gun.

What I don’t like is that I was never informed about this when I made the purchase, I left thinking I had 30 days to return the item if it was defective or not quality, and I came back to find out im SOL, Screwed. If I had been informed that this item was non returnable I would not have any issues here, but it was the fact that they never disclosed this until it was too late that bothered me.

So look… I understand its store policy and that the co2 canister classifies it as a “weapon” and that the co2 canisters can be “dangerous”, but at least let me know before making the purchase so I don’t have to go through the great disappointment going back. I know its partly my fault for not knowing, but im new to buying anything of this nature, and no one told me and if they had just informed me that the item I was buying was a “no-returns” item I would have been fine with it. I would have at least known what I was getting myself into, now im stuck with an expensive broken toy gun… my only hope is that warrant comes through with getting a...

I always buy all my guns and ammo here but my last experience was awful. I bought a new gun online and ran in after work. I got there at 5:20PM. I told the guy in the back that I was picking up. He said they close that area at 5pm and asked if I got a confirmation email. I said yeah I did but no where in the email said I had be to there at 5. I understand that it doesn't take two minutes to do all the paper work and what not but I let him know that I was unable to pick it up until the 18th. He said that's after the two week window for holding it. No I'm sorry about that or anything. I went up front to get some help on what I could do. The guy was really helpful but then a lady working the register starts telling me that "it's common gun knowledge and everyone she knows that knows anything about guns knows it's an hour before close." Ok call me an idiot while I'm just trying to figure out a way to pick it up. It was really rude. I'm think I'm going to switch to somewhere else...

A day or two ago my mom and I went to this sportsman’s to get a specific gun for my dad for hunting. Her and I decided to ask the guys at the counter to help us out because we weren’t sure what we needed to get exactly. This was a huge mistake, we quickly found out that the guys at the gun counter were a bunch of young, immature, unprofessional kids. Once my mom and I knew what to get him after talking with my dad on the phone and we knew exactly what he wanted. We went back and asked for it and they again continued to talk amongst themselves about what and why their preferred gun was the better choice. We knew what we wanted and we just wanted to get out of there but with that group back there we ended up being at sportsman’s for about 2 hours. It was stupid and those guys back there suck...
