Our waitor was Mike. Right when we walked in we greeted by him as we waited for the wonderful hostess to wipe a table that she nicely moved us to because we wanted to move. She was very flexible. Mike recommended good wine and the olives to snack on. He conversed great and we loved him. Mike our waitor was outgoing, honest, vivacious, effervescent and charismatic. He made perfect eye contact to all of our family. All 5 of us felt like we were taken care of. I have a picture of him in the camera roll. I cant say enough about Mike, he is just the perfect waitor. You must, and I mean MUST, come see him, please come and experience him for yourself. The appetizers were great also. I have pictures. We got the meatballs and a Flatbread. MEATBALL • Soft - No indication of a pan sear before cooking in the marinara sauce. Lost out on some flavor here, but the sauce and texture of the meatball in combination with their house made mozzerela made up for it. Very flavorful overall. MODIFIED FLAT BREAD • Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, their options for a table bread were very limited. So our waiter, Mike, decided to bring us a modified bread. This was a flatbread with fresh shavings of their home made mozzerela and some oregano with olive oil. Very fresh, simple, warm and very crunchy. The Flatbread was airy and had their fresh motz on it. Quite delightful indeed. The meatballs you must try. They are light, big and tast great. My pizza with fennel and and olives was the literal best pizza I have ever had. The spaghetti bolognese was also the best. I have pictures of both. They didn't taste like pasta and sauce. It was lovely. Made with love and care. It works perfect and makes a lovely entre. thing. The fact that no mention of a complication with one of our orders was said and he noticed as he was picking up plates was extrodinary. Great place, great food and wonderful atmosphere. If you're in make sure to ask for Mike, he's just a great person and waiter. OVEN BAKED OLIVES • Just as expected, warm wonderful olives, served by themselves in a small white bowl GUY FERRI PIZZA • Crust was very crunchy, not dark and incredibly flavorful crust. • The pistachio, soppressata were the highlights of this pizza hands down. Although the other toppings (Brussel sprout shavings, White sauce) where a wonderful complement. • Let's talk pizza. This pizza is different and borderline crazy; it's nutty, sweet, spicy and surprising. The flavor profile of this pizza is simply consummate and well rounded. Overall out food was a 6/5. Mike was a 25/5!!!!!! He made the experience. Fat Olive as a whole The atmosphere is warm and laid back, with a subtle notion that you're about to get a great plate of food. The staff was very family like in a sense they would accommodate to almost every one of anyone's needs. Our waiter Mike, was such a character. He was attentive, humorous and most of all considerate of what we were ordering. He noticed that one of our pizzas was slightly dark on the bottom and so he gave us a free desert, which was...

I was excited to try this place. It was busy but we didn’t mind waiting. Once seated it took awhile for the waitress to come by, because the place was busy. About 20 mins later, when she finally come by to take our drink order, she was very unhappy or annoyed at either us for simply existing or her job. It was off putting to be met with an attitude and an unhappy person when we waited so patiently. It took another 10 mins to get our drinks delivered by another person. Another 15 mins later she came back to take our order, more irritated than before. It was our first time and we asked her about two different pizza options and that seemed to irritate her more, she didn’t have any input on the difference between the Naples pizza vs the regular, other than one cost more than the other. Nice right. She seemed more interested in going back to talk to her other server friends and we were just an inconvenience to her social life. With all the waiting we did our pizza came out fast, suspiciously fast, dropped off by another person not her. When we ate the pizza it wasn’t hot just slightly warm, like the cheese seemed to cool down that it was just chunks of hardened mozzarella. The dough was soggy and not fully cooked. We could see the pizza oven and pizzas being cooked and the guys in there were running around to keep up with the busy crowd. So I’m guessing they opted to not fully cook the pizzas in order to save time. Mine seemed to be precooked because it was their more popular one and it seemed they made a bunch ahead of time and cooked them and set them aside for the next order. That’s what the cheese seemed like. We also had to ask one of the guys busing the tables to get refills… She couldn’t be bothered.

They don’t give you napkins or utensils you have to ask for those, which can take awhile.

After all the rude and annoyed looks she gave us, the crap old not fully cooked pizza, the waiting while she chatted with her friends, the neglect, when she brought the check she was smiles. We just wanted to leave so we gave her the card, and watched what appeared like her talking about us and laughing with her colleague.

We were never rude, we didn’t complain, we waited patiently, we didn’t tell them to take the pizzas off the bill, we just dealt with it… and in the face of a rude and annoyed waitress, with poor service, we dealt with it. Without complaint.

I definitely don’t recommend this place. It’s over hyped. The pizza is old and cold. Just buy a store bought frozen one it’s better quality and cheaper, which is sad. The servers are rude and annoyed just by your presence in their restaurant. It is an overall unwelcoming and cold environment. 4% gratuity was added to the bill. There for dinner on...

Just an honest review of the experience. It was our first time in and we were excited to check out the happy hour. We got there at 2 and it was hoppin. We asked to sit at the bar but was told there was no bartender....and there would be a 20 min wait....no problem....the hostesses we're sweet and welcoming. They said there was a 2 top in the bar and we could have it if we wanted it ... absolutely....the server was brand new his second day ....so we are expecting to have that experience no problem. He takes our drink order and we get 3 items from the happy hour menu. The cheese dip...the motz Tom pizza and some meatballs. Our water came and no other drinks. Granted the man was slammed but 4 other tables received they're drinks and food that sat after us so after the 5th table got drinks I called the server over and said hey can we get our drinks bro ..we was polite but then 2 of our apps arrived way before our drinks ..now I get it but wow...so we dug in...the cheese dip was alright but lacked flavor very underwhelming compared to the description and the toast points were burnt and tasted like griddle oil and not butter. The meatballs were cold in the center. So the drinks finally come after we are almost finished with the 2 apps still no pizza. So we're frustrated by this point. Finished my drinks yet no offer for a refill although dude goes by me 3 times...so I'm like let's just pay and leave...then the pizza shows up....undercooked ... underwhelming flavor. Blah. So now weve just spent $70 for a very underwhelming experience. We are industry people and have those expectations and understandings...the feeling was we were tossed in the corner and forgotten about. It was a chaotic atmosphere that felt like a turnstyle turn and burn. Not even corporate at least fake vibes. Maybe at one point this place had a soul or we just got a bad moment in time. This is not to slam the place just to give one perspective on an experience. And some feedback. This was a Saturday afternoon so maybe that played into the carelessness of the experience. As we do I still tipped well and thanked everyone for their service cause we know it happens sometimes. Still gave y'all a 5 star cause we'll come sometime when it's not hammered and give...
