I’ll start off by saying that they have good bagels and I really enjoy eating there. The staff is friendly and it is quick, quality food. HOWEVER I have a bone to pick with Fat Bagels…since I have begun frequenting this establishment I’ve noticed a number of inconsistencies. I order the same thing every time, a sesame bagel with cream cheese, egg, and bacon and it’s a different price every time. 8 something dollars or sometimes $9.79. I don’t know if they get mixed up with how to ring up my order but I also sometimes receive the wrong order. It’s missing egg or they put cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese. The order has only been wrong when I go to the drive-thru so I think some things get lost in translation but it’s a huge disappointment when I get to my location and sit down to eat and it is not what I ordered. Today my order was missing egg and the receipt said “no egg” when I in fact ordered egg. And to boot, the price was still $9.79 even with “no egg.” Like…what? Shouldn’t it be cheaper???

I’ll say it again, the bagels are delicious, but the place is...

Love love love! We discovered it when picking up dinner from Fat Olives, and I love bagels so we tried it one morning. Loved it so much, we had it again the morning we headed back home. It's a small place, and we didn't have to wait too long in line or for our food. The price was good as well!

I got the orange juice both days, an onion bagel the first day, and a garlic bagel the next day, both with chive schmear. The bagels were very good, and the cream cheese as well! And the juice, I loved it. Bummer it doesn't come in a bigger size. I really loved the flavor each time and the amount of cream cheese I think is perfect, not too much but definitely enough for every bite. The service was also very nice each morning, both at the register and when giving us our food. It can get busy and a little tight in there, but it's well worth the food. We ate in the car both mornings just because I'm not a fan of smaller spaces that are a bit filled. Next time we come through Flagstaff we are definitely stopping by again...

I’ve been on a medication that makes food extremely uninteresting. It’s so sad. My boyfriend and I bought a bakers dozen of their bagels and it is the only food in months that has genuinely brought me joy. It came in a paper bag filled with warm fluffy fat moist bagels. It wasn’t dense and thick too, they’re fat and fluffy and not overly moist. The crust on the outside isn’t hard or dry, it’s so easy to bite into. I’m overjoyed I was able to experience pure joy from food! I also see a lot of goofy reviews that are upset that this place has isn’t cheap and affordable- and for that I have to emphasize that just because an establishment has a drive thru, doesn’t automatically mean it is a joint that serves quick cheap tasty but low quality food. Fat bagels pastries and schemers are definitely close to the gourmet level, if you want quality food that can be quickly accessed through a DRIVE THRU, expect to pay! You get what you pay for and I am very happy with what...

We’d been eyeing Fat Bagels since it opened, and this past Friday morning was finally the perfect time to try it out. Knowing it's owned by John Conley (of Fat Olives and Salsa Brava fame), we came in with high expectations, and it absolutely delivered! I had the Miss Piggy, which came loaded with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, hashbrowns, applewood smoked bacon, and pistachio mortadella on a toasted asiago bagel. It was deliciously indulgent—worth every bite! The fresh-squeezed orange juice was also fantastic and lived up to its name, bursting with freshness. As a bonus, the sandwich portion was generous, so I saved half for the next morning, and it reheated beautifully in the toaster oven (and I'm picky about leftovers!). We’ll definitely be back!

The bagels are great, I give them a solid 4 stars!! My everything was nicely coated and it was crusty. The Asiago had a nice crust of cheese as well although only on the very center of the bagel. Now the cons which lost one star. I asked for a toasted bagel, it is toasted so lightly that it barely gets a crunch. They are a bit doughy so I would scoop out the inside next time. They don’t do fried eggs only scrambled but they were very good! They gave me cheese instead of bacon but quickly made me a new bagel. The light roast is water with coffee essence, and their dark roast is just awful tasting.
