I've always a great experience here til today... first off I wanted to say what a great and knowledgeable employee Leah is. She helped me gather the supplies I needed to start my silversmithing journey as a beginner. Even more so carried the box of heavy supplies to the front. Always a pleasant interaction with her and the other ladies. I get that people shoplift and employees are to be vigilant. But however I felt I was singled out as soon as I walked through the door by Rick the employee. I noticed he was watching but I did not think anything of it. No greeting, just stared. As someone who is in recovery that walks with a cane and foot braces I wanted to challenge myself and walk with no cane but with the help of my partner close by. We were talking and laughing while I held my partners arm shopping. I guess that alone made me a shoplifting suspect. Because looking up again there is good ol Rick watching at the silver counter pretending to be on his phone. As soon as we made eye contact he left to the back. Flagstaff thunderbird always has a welcoming atmosphere every time I go in. The staff are very friendly and know what they are doing. They have a variety of things to choose from, it's always fun to browse their store.. also the manager Marilyn is very sweet she is always smiling when I go into the store and never hesitates to acknowledge your presence and say hello.
