Short Review: Amazing chocolate! Sweet owner. Fun atmosphere. Very smooth coffee. Long Review: This is a newer coffee shop we wanted to try. It's nice to see a place that offers organic coffee. It has a very nice quiet area to hang out and drink coffee or you could even study there. In addition, there is a huge chess board setup too. The owner was super sweet. The menu is very limited so if you like flavors make sure you ask her which flavor she has. We ordered two hot vanilla lattes. They were very what I call smooth drinks. If you're looking for a drink that's going to kick you with expresso flavor, this is not it. However, if you're the opposite and like an easy to drink coffee this is perfect for you. She also had offered us a sample of her chocolate... It was absolutely delicious. I would best describe it as "hot chocolate bites."

I think this is only the 2nd coffee shop have reviewed. Sometimes the people who work there educate and entertain you. Beans sourced directly from family in Mexico, you can feel the joy and love of the endeavor. Chocolate, Galletas de Pinole Pinolitas corn cookies, pastries, intense salsas machas (hot), and of course, the coffee. I had decaf espresso so I can taste good coffee, as much as I want. This was sublime. Fruity, a touch of acidity, but rich. We spent 15 minutes at the counter tasting and talking about his family, Mexico, culinary mumbo jumbo. Warning- taste first, as that could determine your beverage. You will spend money here. Enjoy! You will.

Absolutely delicious espresso, fair trade beans from Mexico & excellent service from the owner himself! He let me sample all their goodies, and I purchased whole beans and semi-sweet dark chocolate to take home, even though I also wanted to buy the honey & corn galletas! I appreciated the Guatemalan roots and vibe, and the owner showing me specifically where his family is from on the wall maps 🙂 If you want ACTUAL good coffee, this is the place!

I enjoyed Alejandra's shop during a stop on a long drive from TX to NV having organic coffee, cacao & buying some salsa. It all tasted delicious and I appreciated the taste tests. Because I'm in the RE & development industry, I always like to banter with local folks about this when I travel. So we got to talking about the local area and I was glad to hear Alejandra having interest in responsible urban planning. We shared info about tiny house communities, the book 'A Pattern Language' and an Arizona/Mexico pursuit in the Chiricahua Mountains to control erosion and encourage plant growth for ecological succession with techniques like trincheras, gabions and check dams. Mayan Winds cafe is a great spot to relax and talk about important topics. For my next time in Flagstaff I hope we can continue the chat about this interesting city, AZ and all of the...

i’ve been travelling across North America for about a year now, and this the best experience I’ve had so far. Someone advised me to try the coffee and even though i’m not a big coffee fan i still tried and this is the best one i’ve had, I was so chocked to discover that i, in fact, do love good coffee lol The place is so cute and the people working here are so nice, they make you feel so welcome and they even had us try samples of some of their specialties and you can tell everything is homemade and very high quality I had the best time chatting with Marina and i will never forget her ❤️ Sweetest people alive and very good coffee and food!! If i’m ever back in flagstaff, i will totally come again...
