Locked Inn Escape Rooms — Local services in Florence

Updated: changed my review to 5 stars. Even though carnival was a challenge, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. It left a huge impression on me. Since the last time, we’ve also completed the new Deadlands room. It is great. Very fun, creative, and intuitive. I love the live actor aspect. I would definitely go back to Locked Inn.

We had a lot of fun at Locked Inn. We did the carnival room, which although not scary, was very creepy. There were a few issues with the room that could have made our experience better. For one, there was a puzzle that was open when it was not supposed to be. That was easily fixed once the game master told us to close it. The bigger issue was the use of the walkie talkies to communicate with the game master. It was very challenging to hear what she was saying. The last element that took away from the experience was the repetitive puzzles. Most of the puzzles involve locks with a code you have to figure out. I wish there was a little more diversity to the puzzles. But overall, the experience was good. Great ambiance. I have hosted events for Veterans in multiple escape rooms throughout North and South Carolina. I must say that Locked Inn Escape Rooms in Florence, SC has to be one of the BEST escape rooms I have had the pleasure of visiting. Maureen was not only an absolute pleasure to work with, but she made planning our group a breeze. From the moment I arrived to prepare our group until the very last moment before I left, I felt that she and her staff truly wanted us to enjoy the evening. The location was clean, ADA accessible, remarkably designed and the environment extremely pleasant. The room I participated in was beyond amazing and quite challenging. I truly enjoyed myself and got lost in the theme of the room....even though we ran out of time.
