Maurices — Local services in Florence

This place has greatly downgraded since I have last been here two years ago. The clothes are much thinner now then what they were yet prices have risen. I only shop for newer clothes every few years and the last year I shopped I went here. Yes it was very expensive but the quality of the clothing was worth it then for the price. I went back a week ago to pick up some shoes I fell in love with on their online store. The price was fantastic and from my previous experience I knew the quality would be too. But much to my dismay after purchasing the shoes I walked in them for all of 5 minutes and noticed the sole was separating. I took them off inspected them and saw the whole shoe was glued together. There were spots of glue coming out of where the straps were, the sole was separating quickly and I was very angry about this! Because of me trusting this store with previous purchases that were quality I never thought to look to make sure. I immediately took them back and asked for a refund. That's my last time...

Last weekend I went shopping at Maurice's for the first time. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by an associate named Kaitlyn. She asked if I needed help finding anything and of course I said no (like most people). I began picking up things to try on and Kaitlyn came over offered to take the clothes and start a fitting room for me. I told her I was shopping for a outfit for my husbands 40th birthday present that we were going to Rascal Flatts she was so helpful in helping me find my size and accessories. I went back Wednesday night to exchange a bracelet and to look for a jacket. I walked in the store Kaitlyn saw me and said hey your back with a smile and asked if we had gone to the concert yet. She actually remembered me! She helped me find a jacket and a different braclet. She is absolutely amazing at her job. I don't feel like an average customer I feel like I'm something special. I will for sure make a 40 min drive just to shop at this store!!!!! Thank you again for making no me...

I ordered a pair of leggings and was told I would receive an email with my tracking information which I did not I did make sure to get my paper receipt though. I was told it should take no more than 8 days for the leggings to arrive. 2 weeks go by and I still have not received them so I call the store they tell me they can’t help me I have to call another number. I call the number they gave me and asked about my order the lady I was talking to finally got back to me only to tell me my order was forgotten about and had been shipped to the wrong location and was sitting in a warehouse. She made me repay for the leggings after she refunded me my money for some reason and offered me 20% off my next order. I will not be ordering or shopping here again I ordered the leggings for work 3 weeks ago and still don’t have them and now I’m out 40 dollars until my refund hits in 5 business days.
