I had the most embarrassing moment at this specific location, while searching for a shirt I ask a staff member for assistance, she was so polite and helpful, then she called the person in charge for that department, the help came so quick that I got so excited and gave this employee a warm thank you with a pad on the back, she was very kind and helpful and helped find what I was looking. Soon enough, I went to the liquor department to get some other items I needed while asking a young man to help me locate an orange flavor liquor, a security staff member came to talk to me in a very embarrassing way to address the action I previously took with the first employee that I padded on the back, the security embarrassed me in front of an employee and other customers by stating that my action was not according to the company "policy ". I felt like i did a horrific thing for showing my appreciation to one of their employees, no enough to say that on my way out to the cashier this unprofessional security guard followed me while Bragging with other customers her unethical action towards me, at that point I felt harassed. This shouldn't be a treatment that a customer should receive by showing appreciation. The security guards demeaning manner to belittle me in front of customers is unacceptable. Read moreI was very disappointed in my shopping trip at this target store. I've shopped here several times and its typically a bit messy, and products are almost never represented with the correct price tag! Today none of the items that where listed as a cartwheel deal applied at checkout. The products where listed on the target app and signs where posted on the shelf. I returned about $65 worth of merchandise because the customer service associate simply scanned each item and informed me as the items were scanned that, "no they are not on sale". and didnt seem to care about the issue of signs posted on the shelves and the items being listed on the target app! Also the service at the starbuck shop was ridiculous! The baristas and cashiers where so slow! It took them 20 minutes to get my three drinks ready. I was also informed that they do not serve the drinks by order, but rather by the drink itself, she took the time to inform me and the customer whom had ordered after me because two of her drinks where the same as one of mine, so when the barista called out "3 vanilla bean frappes"! Neither her or I recognized the order as ours and the drinks just sat. The next 4 or 5 customers and I where able to then distribute the rest of the prepared drinks until our orders...
Read moreI tried returning an iPad to this store and was told that the serial number on the receipt didn’t match the serial number on the device. I was honestly annoyed but, after talking with target support, I was told to go to the store I originally bought it from and work it out with them. Upon arriving to the Newport store, the employee was super helpful and assured me that the serial numbers matched. However, the manager had to get involved once the Florence store called about their refusal to return the device at their location. For context, I never told the Florence location I was heading over to the Newport store to try and return it. I eventually got my return processed without too much hassle at the Newport location. I would give the Florence store the benefit of the doubt, but they, at best, messed up scanning the barcode on the device’s packaging or, at worst, thought I was trying to scam them. I’m assuming the latter option since, with zero provocation, they called another nearby store. I have never experienced this level of unprofessional.
