What a joke! I get that the rona is going on but this is ridiculous. Google says the store is open. I was needing to look at a bottle and needed to make sure it was thick enough before buying. When I pulled up the store is closed to inside traffic. I called the number and asked if they could bring the bottle outside so I could see if it was what I needed. The manager stated they could not do this and I would need to purchase it online. O told her I did not know if it would be think enough and hated to buy and it not work. She stated if it didn't work I couldn't return it until the rona was all over!!!😆 So basically buy something even if you don't know it will be what you need but can't return it if it isn't and can't bring outside for you to make sure before buying. Bye Michael's! Just a matter of time before your out of business with this crap customer service. At least Amazon will take the return on something that you don't know will work for you. Update: Joanne’s first….. Michael...
Read moreStore was a mess and struggled to find anything. It’s always cluttered with sparse shelves and terrible signs for directions. Every sale sign I tried using didn’t work, despite bringing it to the attention of the cashier. I was told a sign sitting directly on the shelf in front of a specific item didn’t mean it was for that item, which makes no sense because if you have a shelf of sale items and something isn’t on sale, you shouldn’t put it on a display full of sale items with a sign clearly marked? Not only that, but the prices are through the roof for these items, knowing full well other stores have things cheaper. The only reason I went in there was for the sales and none of them worked. Another sign for a Crayola sale also didn’t work, despite having no exclusions and me buying two specific Crayola items from the sale rack. Nothing in this store made any sense, and I left feeling confused and aggravated that I had spent so much money for items that were supposed to...
Read moreBad, bad Michaels. I just wanted a nice frame for a canvas painting. I went to the back for help from the framing dept. I wanted one I could just buy and take today, good quality but fairly plain. I was willing to pay for it, not settle for something subpar. I told her I wanted wood. Not much choice, ended up getting black. I asked her, is this wood (it didn't look like wood)? She said it was but didn't really examine it. When I got home and removed the cardboard protectors from the corners it was badly damaged and obviously not wood, with bad scratches all over. I ended up repairing with a Sharpee. The frame was so cheap it disintegrated as I was repairing it. Very bad Michaels. Know what you need, don't ask for help, they don't have a clue. I got the impression the lady didn't care at all. I don't live near here and need the frame for my new office this week, so exchanging doesn't work, I am...
