Turfway Square — Local services in Florence

Before I even had a chance to walk into the place I was accosted by the cashier. I was told that I would need a tray because she was trying to get them all washed anyway before they closed. She made sure to remind me that they close at 9. She then tried to solicit me for a donation. I looked down on the place where my trade would be sitting while I was trying to pay my bill and the dust collector was sitting up on top of the rail. The thing used by them when sweeping carpet to sweep garbage into? Why that would be there I have no clue. The waitress was nice. The same girl that was a cashier was over-cleaning the sneeze class above the food. Rather than just wiping the outside top layer she was working on the underside with Windex and a paper towel using your fingernail to scrape off whatever she saw. That had to have fallen directly into the food. The manager was sitting in the office rather than being out on the floor managing. Places like this have a poor reputation as it is. For me I keep on forgetting I swore that I wouldn't come back...

I don't have anything good to say about Golden Corral they've got a racist black man that works for them and the past couple of times I was in there I walked up to the window with my plate to get a steak and he waited on everyone else but me and when I finally got his attention he cut off a small piece and said I wasn't getting any more than that... I am the kind person that if you disrespect me I'm gonna disrespect you but that was the wrong place so I had to bite my tongue and mind you I had never seen this man in my life and he would watch me like a hawk every time I walked by the window and mumble below his breath.. DEI has almost destroyed this country and it will soon destroy this business if they don't make an about face.. that's all I've got to say about this place me or my family will never eat there again and it used to be our go to place until they put a racist black man in the cooking...

Worse experience ever. Waitress was excellent. The food was not the greatest. Meatloaf was only half done really pink in the middle. The prime rib was tender but was barely warm. The cooks couldn't keep stuff stocked. Went up 3 different times for mash potatoes and never any there. Chicken was always empty. Mac and cheese was warm. Dessert bar was a wreck. People lined up waiting for ice cream and the man behind there was more worried about putting sticks in strawberry's. Oh and the place was less than half of people when we got there. About 3/4 when we left. The only good part was the waitress Kayley very good always checking on us kept the old dishes cleaned up. Drinks full. Very funny great attitude. Coming I'd was a line of 10. With 3 people behind the counter only one working the register. One getting drinks. And one doing not much. Most likely the last time there...
