I was excited to go in to this cool looking, unique art store. We spent almost 20 minutes admiring and decided on two items. My very well behaved 8 year old sat in the chair with a sign that read “try me” and the woman working there immediately told him not to swing in it since there was art hanging around it on the side wall. He made sure not to swing and I told him to just get up. He sat down in it again while my daughter and I pet the sweet dog in there and made sure not to swing and she reminded him again. We went to the register to check out and he lightly touched the small art work near the register and she told him not to touch it because it could change the color of it with the oils in his fingers. I fully understand that logic but he barely touched the shiny glass on the artwork, there was no sign saying don’t touch this as it sat right on the counter. We ended up walking out after all of that without the items. I am a firm believer in disciplining my children, I don’t appreciate the way she continued to say something to my child that was very well behaved. She was very unwelcoming and it’s a shame because the artwork...
