30Avenue — Local services in Alys Beach

We ate at 30A Burgers. It was clean and a fun atmosphere but the food was expensive for the portion sizes. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and onion rings, a hamburger and fries and 6 piece nuggets and fries and 3 drinks and it was over $40. The meat on the sandwiches was soo small, we had to open the buns on the hamburger and chicken sandwich to find the meat. The chicken looked like 1 chicken finger. When we complained about the small size of the chicken, we were told "that's just the portion size." The manager did come out and apologize and offer to remake the sandwich and would remind staff to press the chicken more before cooking it.... That doesn't change the amount of chicken on the sandwich!!!! That would just give a paper thin piece of chicken. The food had a great taste. It is a shame the portion sizes are so small. Definitely not worth the money...

The rice bowl was OK, the coconut milk was interesting but honestly the whole bowl lacked flavor. It need some lime, cilantro and corn. Gf got 3 tacos and got food poisoning big time. The food wasn't hot, I suspect the BBQ isn't kept hot enough or the grouper was under cooked. It's possible there was cross contamination in the sauce or toppings. The restaurant was decorated well and I liked the open kitchen. The service was not great. The hostess could care less if we were there. The waitress seemed nice but didn't manage her time well. I have visited this place only a couple of times, I would like to experience and explore it more. Every time I visit there are more stores added. During this visit, they had a Holiday event with some shopping, music, Santa and hot chocolate. The weather was amazing and we had an opportunity to hang out and enjoy Florida Christmas festivities. They even had a horse carriage ride! I wish they advertised it a little more and the band seemed like they have not played much, but it was still cute. We had no idea the Christmas trees were sold in the back, behind the stores, but we will check with them next Christmas for sure. I am definitely coming back to check out Cuvée and maybe...
