I would like to start by saying the only reason I am posting two stars is due to the Host manager (Nikki). The food was good and our waitress was spot on. We arrived and were told it was going to be 1.5 hour wait. That was ok with us. There was a table to the side that wasn't fixed up for anybody so my wife and daughters sat there to wait. There is about 5 or 6 more tables there all fixed up but nobody was sitting at any of them. We wasn't told that we couldn't sit there. We had been there for a while, possibly about an hour and Nikki tells us that we need to move to the other side to sit because they were going to use the table. Well there was no spot to sit on the other side, she just waved us off like we didn't matter. That made us upset, but we just moved to the parking lot and just stood there. Again there was nobody in any of the tables there. After about 30 mins or so we received our message that it was time to sit. Well where do you think she put us..... IN THE SAME SPOT SHE TOLD US TO GET UP FROM. This just put the icing on the cake for customer service for us in a bad way. It was about 30 mins later before they ever started to seat people at the tables outside. After speaking with our waitress, she informed us that Nikki has upset many people and that was just "her" way. She also spoke to Nikki who came to our table and ask if we needed anything. No.... Can I help you, or you guys ok. Nothing. I was like... we don't need anything. I found out later that she told the waitress that she didn't do anything wrong. We also watched a large table get treated very unfairly and was told that they needed to fix “their” problem that it wasn’t “her” problem. I seen 5 people leave from that group and never come back. I was appalled. I would like to express to this place that if that is all you can find to put over customer service then something is TERRIBLY WRONG. She needs to definitely find another job that fits her terrible attitude and the way she treats people and it doesn't need to be here. This place is way too good to have someone like this behind the counter. Put her washing dishes. She will probably excel in that department. Our waitress knew that we had been treated wrong so she went above and beyond for us! Put her in as the new customer service manager. She would definitely do...

Third visit to this very nice restaurant that also compliments itself with a sister Mexican restaurant joined together by a entrance of outside tables . Excellent facility 5 stars ✨ Tremendous food and outstanding quality both restaurants. Truly some of the very best 5 Stars ✨ The problem is the service from the Italian side on Saturday, June 10, around 1:30-2:30 pm was absolutely the worse I had ever had . Gentlemen waiter, first told us that let him get all the drink orders to save him a trip followed by he wants to catch a glimpse or two of some soccer match on the restaurant’s TV’s in about 15 minutes . I wax completely shocked but he must have been serious 😂. Tea never refilled, water never refilled, the couple that ordered Mexican food sat down after we did, ate and left before our food arrived . A complete waste, mess and embarrassment to a excellent restaurant that you can tell is lead by good people. They like so many in business are struggling to get folks to work that don’t see the vision these owners do for their fine restaurants and they certainly are good. When I did see the gentleman that took our order, he began telling me ALL the reasons why his service was so bad this day. My response was very politely.., that is not my problem… see your management. Other recent reviews have stated the same story as mine it seems . ✨ In summary, to the owners… great job on two of the best restaurants in the area along the coast . The food your establishments serve us the best and sincerely shows your commitment to your customers. However, in a time where employment is stressful with staffing please don’t let some employees ruin what the success you have achieved and will continue to achieve until folks get enough of situation experiences like mine or several others reviewed lately. Even with the awful service, I am willing to try again in sincere hopes that it was just a foul ball for the restaurant. My opinion, only, but congratulations on hitting it out of the park with a great location, great ambiance and excellent 5 star food with quality...

Brussel sprouts were good, but the service was horrible. I am a local and couldn't believe the price we paid in comparison to the bad service. We went here to celebrate a birthday of one of my best friends (Military veteran). There was 7 people in our party. Our waitress brought one small plate of bread (about 3 pieces - or 6 - 1/2 slices) to share amongst all of us, yet smaller tables with 4 people got 2 plates of bread to share, so I'm not understanding the math here.

She never came back to refill any of our drinks or to check on us. When I asked the male "food runner" who brought out our appetizers for some more bread to share he said "there's a charge for that." So, when our server came back, I asked her about the bread charge and she admitted she didn't provide us with the correct amount for our table and said we wouldn't be charged for it, but I was embarrassed to have to ask since this is an "upper scale" Italian restaurant.

The food was poor quality and 2 of the 7 people in our family got very sick, one being a nurse. She had symptoms of food poisoning and started vomiting 2 hours after eating her meal that she shared with my daughter who also got sick with nausea and vomiting. (They had some kind of fettucine pasta alfredo dish...)

Needless to stay the birthday party ended after dinner due to 2 of our family members getting sick... I would recommend going elsewhere, not sure what's going on in the kitchen but somethings just NOT RIGHT.

If you want good Italian that is worth the $ and you won't get sick..it is worth the drive to Destin..go to Mimmo's. Great service, great food,...

Holy GIGANTIC ravioli mozzarella cheese stick !! From start to finish our entire experience was soooo tasty. We started with the ravioli mozzarella cheese stick, meatballs & bruschetta. The cheese stick was sooo cheesy & delicious. The bruschetta & meatballs were also yummy but that cheese stick tho! SMH. At the urging of the owner (which, BTW I thought was incredibly cool of her to stop by & just chit chat with us) & the server, we ordered the chicken picatta. Bolognese was also suggested which we were eager to try. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We boxed up leftover entrees & braved the dessert menu. Tiramisu & the cannoli! The cannoli was to be expected & I'm not saying that's good or bad! I would've been upset if it didn't taste as expected...but that tiramisu was delightful!! Presentation was creative & intelligent. It was the lightest tiramisu I've ever had (& I almost ALWAYS order the tiramisu when checking out a new restaurant) & one of the best! We also ordered Zeni Valpolicella Marogne Ripasso Superiore red wine & I have to say that it was a little too light for my taste. It was good but my personal preference is something a little more medium-bodied. I visit PCB frequently so I have a feeling that I'll be back! And will definitely be eyeballing that stuffed meatball. BTW, leftover chicken picatta & bolognese is REALLY delicious! I usually don't eat cold leftovers but I tried a few bites of chicken picatta & WOW.

my boyfriend and I decided to spend a day exploring Walton County. While cruising around, we stumbled upon Amici, and he suggested we give it a shot. We were bracing ourselves for high prices but were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable costs and the overall 10/10 experience. We grabbed a table outside, and it was the perfect spot for a hot summer day—nice and breezy with just the right amount of shade. We kicked things off with the mozzarella cheese stick appetizer. Let me tell you, it was more than enough for two and probably would have fed four. This cheese stick was *chef’s kiss* crispy on the outside and perfectly stringy on the inside. Hands down the best mozzarella we've had. For the main course, he went with the "famous" Lemon Chicken Piccata, recommended by our waitress. The sauce was perfectly balanced, the pasta was cooked just right, he devoured the whole plate. I opted for the Spaghetti Bolognese, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was spot-on, and the sauce—oh my goodness—had a delightful surprise of ricotta cheese to mix in. It all came together so beautifully, I wish I could have it again right now. Overall, this was a delightful experience. Our waitress was super sweet and a blast to chat with. She even gave us some great tips on things to do in the area, which we're now excited to come back and explore. 10/10 would recommend!

On a Friday in July at noon, my wife and I were going to get some lunch at Shades across the street- we were very hungry, but were told it would be an hour wait, so we decided to go a little bit more expensive and try Amici since the menu online made the food look so good. We are so glad we did! No wait at all, we were seated immediately in the well air conditioned, atmospheric restaurant, with a good server. The food was exceptional- I have been to Italy, but Italian food isn't my favorite, although my wife loves it. However, I could eat here any day, as our food was perfect. I ordered the alfredo style chicken parmigiana, which for only $15 came with a delicious cut of breaded chicken, topped with a lump of delicious mozzarella, and served on a hefty bed of spaghetti (with alfredo for me). I encouraged my wife to try the homemade creamy pesto gnocchi... it was to die for. Probably the best pesto dish I've ever tried. We were both immensely satisfied, and getting just two lunches with water only cost us $40 with tip, which is surely no more than we would have paid at Shades or other similar restaurants nearby. And yet, we got some of the best Italian food I've had in years. Next time we're in Panama, we will be back, and probably with some friends, because we want them all to try this food!
