ZERO STARS!!! Visited Sunday May 26th, 2024 over Memorial Day weekend for brunch. They advertised a special brunch prepared by the “chef” outside. Greeters were lovely, but unfortunately that’s where it ended with pleasantry. We sat and promptly ordered a coffee, mimosa, and the French toast casserole as we were quite hungry. The coffee was poured out of what seemed to be the last drops in the container that had been sitting all morning. Gross. Next the mimosa was the worst mimosa I’ve ever had. And then let’s get to the worst part. THE FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE CAME OUT TASTING LIKE SOY SAUCE!!!! My mom asked for maple syrup and the lady proceeded to bring a small side. We tasted it and again tasted like soy sauce and had a very liquid consistency. We then asked again for REAL PURE maple syrup again, and the server sassed me saying “the maple syrup is pure and came directly from our really really expensive bottle”. I told her it tasted like soy sauce in which she proceeded to take it back to the kitchen and promptly came back saying I was correct. The wrong bottle was used in the casserole by the “chef” apparently. She wanted to have it remade but at this point we have been gaslit to believe that the casserole was actually good and are extremely annoyed. Another table was having the same issue. We asked her to comp the meal, we wanted to leave. The “chef” never came out to apologize for his mistake. How does a chef “grab the wrong bottle” and not know the consistency of his sauces and then cannot own up and apologize to the people who tasted that nasty food. I live in the area and will never recommend this place to visitors nor locals. They could have corrected the issue by responding accordingly but they did not. We should not have paid anything for terrible service and food/drink....

Ordered steak frites$32 and Nicks redfish&grits $36 and appetizer Korean Bbq pork bites$19 the appetizer is to be sticky and a little spicy but it was more like a lot of ginger no garlic or spice no sticky, the two main dishes were bland no seasoning on either dish the steak frites dish was a disappointment steak is cooked one way only the way the cook prepares it very thin slices of beef no option to order to your own preference fried onions on top were cold and greasy the steak fries were pretty good and the salad wasn’t to my liking probably would have been great if I was to like Italian dressing but there’s no option for a choice of dressing, the Redfish dish was just one flavor the Cream creole sauce couldn’t taste the blackened Redfish,Spinach or tomatoes Parmesan grits what grits couldn’t taste them at all just way to much cream sauce. The service was horrible We were seated at a two top by front door this should definitely not be a table used for dining in horrible location to sit. Continued to sit there while employees walked by not even a glance our way or a how is everything? waited 20 minutes when we stopped the hostess for the check our server was M.I.A and for the prices on food you pay $$ would at least think you would have good service I understand they have no control over the food quality but service they do. This is an update to my review a week ago. We had slow service and poor excuses about not enough staff and that applies to all patrons on a Thursday night. Our entree was not nearly as good as the previous 2x and the vegetables were nonexistant. Really just an over cooked piece of fried grouper over a lot of white rice with a tasty Asian sauce. Weirdly, this entree is never on the menu and you must ask for it because the servers are so busy they do not go over the specials or ever state the prices! The menu also does not list prices for any sides. The tossed mixed salad for $14 was a very small one with a dressing that was too much vinegar and no olive oil. I had the same size salad as a side a week ago, decided it was too small, so ordered the larger size. I wasn’t fooled by the handful of tossed lettuce spread out into a larger bowl! Only go for beer and you will be happy. We heard a lot of complaints about food and service. I probably won’t return. A total lack of consistancy doesn’t make for a great experience.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in the last month while staying across the street in Rosemary Beach. The grouper entree prepared in an Asian style was EXCELLENT! It’s not on the regular menu but is served as a special. My only complaint would be the rather small dinner side salad with way too much vinegar in the dressing.
