I turned in my outfit to be altered four weeks before friend's wedding May 17th, as I was going to be a bridesmaid. Magda and I settled on a date for pickup a few days before the wedding. When I got there to pick it up around 9:00 am, she acted shocked to see me said no one has ever picked up an outfit this early before. Mind you they open at 8:30 she's had this outfit for almost a month. She said come back after 12:00 because it wasn't ready. I just kind of stared in shock and unbelief over the nonchalant attitude and my outfit not being ready after she's had it for a month. Also we did not discuss a time to pick it up just the day. I told her I cannot come back after 12:00 as all the pre-wedding busyness was in full effect and I would have to pick it up Friday the next day which was one day before the wedding. She had a bowl of cereal in her hand and was trying to get out the door to go somewhere else. I was just shocked. When I finally picked it up the next day I wanted to try it on to see if she really altered it or not. The only thing I needed fixed was it was a tiny bit loose underneath one of the arms as it was a one shouldered outfit and I was going to have to wear a strapless bra but you can see the bra when I tried on my outfit and I wanted that , very simple. Well guess what? I tried it on and it fit EXACTLY the same as before it was "altered". I came out and showed it to her and she said, is that the bra you're going to wear with it? To me that was indicating that I just needed to wear a different bra that didn't show as much. Also there was just a mark where there was a pin through the material but there was no alteration done. I was so pissed and didn't say anything but I should have gone off but I was in a rush because it was one day before the wedding. She did not alter my outfit and I paid the money anyway but that place is a scam and she is a liar and a fraud. I will never go back. I also showed my outfit to a friend who knows how to sew and is very experienced and she looked at it and confirmed no alteration was made....
   Read moreI left 5 pairs of pants in this shop on 3/29. The owner and I were talking and I know I told her when I needed my pants but it wasn't written on my ticket. I went in on 4/24 to pick them up only to find out they had not been touched. Another lady assisted me and since there was no proof on my behalf. So I called the place and spoke with the owner and told her I would be picking my pants up the next morning. About 15 minutes later I got a call from the owner who stated I would have 2 pairs of pants ready for pickup. I told her thank you for your effort but that's OK. Please do not touch my pants. The owner responds I already cut them. To my surprise now you have time to touch my pants. I was very upset and I asked again not to touch it anymore. 04/25. I went to pick up my items and I was speaking to the other lady who I assumed was the owner but she wasn't I had been dealing with the owner all along and this is how I can say she is the owner. But as I was speaking to the other lady the owner came over and wouldn't let me speak she was overtalking me so I just gave it up. Then the owner states THESE PEOPLE WANTS SOMETHING FOR FREE. I looked at her and said these people, and I asked you say this because I am black. I never asked for anything my money spends everywhere just never at sew so cute. Customer service goes a long way. If she had told me 3/29 it was going to take a long time I never would've left anything with her. This situation is the worst since being in this area. She needs to understand customer service. I went to pick them up on February 15th and was told that one that Christine was working on was messed up & she asked me to order another one. She never called me in the 10 day span to tell me there was an issue! I ordered another robe and tried to take it to her on February 25th and 26th but the shop was closed. Dropped it off on February 27th and reminded Christine that these robes were needed for March 2nd; she assured me that I could pick them up on March 1st. On March 1st, Christine had not done the work on any of the robes that I gave her. She failed to call me ahead of time so that I could have time to find someone else to do the work!
