D'yVonne's Nails And Beauty Bar — Local services in Forest Park

Now usually I wouldn’t leave a review, but the lack of customer service from this establishment left me no choice. So me and my daughter was in the area and I decided to take a chance and stop by this random nail salon to remove my nails. I had a funeral to attend out of town so timing was everything. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and pleasant. He informed me that the tech will be with me shortly after I washed my hands and to have a seat. Any person that knows me will tell you that I don’t play about my nails, lashes or hair. Honestly this was different for me, but I really wasn’t pressed since I was just needing my nails removed. My regular nail tech💙 shout out to Andy is the G.OA.T. at Cleopatra Nails on Camp Creek…but he was booked up for the day. Ladies when I say it was 3 out of 4 techs available and they only had one customer receiving service. So I was really confused why no one bothered to take me. It’s like they noticed me sitting there but refused to assist me, it was really weird🤦🏽‍♀️ Even though I wasn’t sitting long, they’re lack of customer service is what put a bad taste in my mouth. The gentleman at the desk noticed my facial expression and decided he would take me. I told him no thank you as I was walking out. Ladies I spend damn near $200.00 + on my nails without a thought. I want nothing but the best when I spend my money.. whether it’s getting or removing nails. Oh did I mention everyone in there was black. With me being a black female entrepreneur I was more than impressed when I walked in....

Sooooooooooo I could not wait to get to Google and write this wonderful review!!! Let me start by saying I am not from ATL, this is my first time in GA, I’m here visiting my sister, I’m a childcare center owner who is constantly standing so my feet were hurting and in desperate need of a pedicure because work made me miss my appt!!!!

My sister brought me to this wonderful black owned beauty bar, simply because she wanted to support! We were pleasantly welcomed into this beautiful, professional, clean space! Everything about this beauty bar, from the staff to aesthetics was amazing! But the vibes that radiant in this place are top tier!!!! They aren’t even trying, they just are a group of good people!

I opted for the volcano pedicure cause I’m extra and the price was crazy affordable!!! Mo got my feet all the way together!!! She scrubbed , rubbed, and oiled my feet down!!!! Fixed my chipped nail, picked my color, and took care of my feet!!! I left there walking on air!!!! If you need the works make your appointment and ask for Mo!!! And bring ya tip money cause you will want to show her love after she finishes I promise!! And Sid did my sister’s feet and she was super amazing as well!!

I want this owner to know he has a great space and is doing his big one!!! I know there will be another location or two in the future!! I wish the best for him and his business! I can’t wait to come back down and get...

I’ve been coming to D’yVonne’s nail salon for a while. I’ve had two bad experiences out of many so that’s why I keep returning but yesterday was horrible. I went to get a pedicure and the young lady was sweet (Taylor) who did my pedicure but she was very inexperienced. She didn’t cut around the cuticles at all, which we know that’s one of the main functions of a pedicure. 2. She polished my nails horribly. You can’t do a horrible job with white polish on toes. Everything shows including the white polish on my SKIN. 3. I asked for a Basic pedicure but received the spa pedicure which was $8 more. How did my service change from the front desk to when it was relayed to the pedicurist at the back. That was very frustrating because I paid for a spa pedi when I asked for basic. The prices are expensive to me so I tried to save when I can but That was a fail. Again, I love the cleanliness and friendliness of D’yVonne’s but having an inexperienced worker in the shop paying the prices we pay is horrible and that’s the reason for my 1-star review.
