I just moved to Virginia two weeks ago and had no clue where to cut my hair. I did what anyone would do and went to Google to find a reputable salon (not Great Clips… hang in there). I found one that had good reviews, called ahead and confirmed their stylists could cut a precision pixie. I already had a pixie and just needed a trim/reshaping.
I went to the salon for my appointment and the stylist (as nice as she was) was missing the mark big time! I politely asked for her to tweek the cut as it was looking bowl-ish. The more she corrected the worse it was getting for me so I kindly said it was fine, paid the $65 and headed home. As soon as I got home I ran to the mirror and bawled my eyes out. It was BAD!
When my husband came home he saw how upset I was and offered to take me to Great Clips to fix it up. At this point I thought how much worse could it get.
My husband went in before me and gave the stylist, Amanda, a heads up about my cut and how upset I was. When I walked in she instantly saw what I was left with and assured me she could fix it. She jumped in like a pro and did her best to correct what I was left with and although it’s not my ideal cut (yet) she fixed it. She was my hero today!

The manager these men speak of is actually the assistant manager who was promoted not too long ago. I've had many haircuts at this establishment and never had a complaint. The staff is friendly and I always see them welcome whoever walks in their door. Your haircut was 7mins(what you had a stop watch) because it was a simple fade and they have time limits on how long someone can be in their chair(13 mins I think) which gets averaged out after their shift so less time is spent on simple cuts so that the longer cuts like womens, cause they often have more hair, won't exceed their times. Read moreI came in and actually had the store manager cut my hair and she was in a huge rush and did a bad job. All I wanted was a simple fade cut and she did an awful job blending the fade all around and one side of my head was shorter than the other. She had me in and out of the chair in less than 7 min. When I came back in and talked to them the stylist at the desk apologized and told the manager what happened. The manager just looked at me and said nothing, never came over to apologize, never offered a refund, nothing.
