DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Local services in Forestville

Great customer service. I went looking for some shoes for my toddler and they didn't have what I wanted in stock. A young woman over heard my husband and I talking and offered to find them in another store. She found them and told us if we didn't want to drive all the way there she could order them for us and shipping would be free. I wasn't sure about size and she suggested we buy both and return the one that didn't fit. I wouldn't have thought of that on my own. I really appreciated her assistance.

Also, shipping was QUICK! she said we should expect them by Friday and they got here on Tuesday. We ordered them on Saturday.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they didn't have what I was looking...

I was looking for shoes I saw on the DSW website and said it was available at this location so I went in. After searching and searching I couldn't find it. I was with my toddler so I kindly asked for help the lady stated sometimes the website isn't accurate didn't bother to check did nothing (In the middle of my toddler having a tantrum). She sent me to check again and to check clearance this time. I literally knew what I wanted and just wanted to buy it and leave. So I left and placed an order for pick up from my car within 3 hours my order was ready for pick up. First thing I noticed was an awful strong smell of old water, maybe mildew, maybe mold. Seems like a deep cleaning or repairs are overdue. Not a welcoming environment AT ALL. I looked over at the cashier to the left, and he just glanced at me. No greeting or anything. Surprising. I perused the stores options only because of the sale signs. However, I left right back out after a few minutes because the smell was too strong and I would’ve needed help locating certain shoes. The workers there were clearly not in the mood to help. I’ll just go online or another location...
