Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

So sometimes I deliver food and last night I received an order from Popeyes so I was sent to this particular store. So I chose to go in instead of the deive thru, noticing that the inside was quiet and yes it was still open, it was 10pm they close at 11pm. So I figured this would go pretty smoothly. I was incorrect! I typically dont complain because I have worked in the service industry all of my working life and I know it can be a trying occupation. Now with that being said, I must say that last night at this particular Popeyes was some of the worst service in the area! The young lady behind the counter refused tp take my order because she said it wasn't her responsibility and she was "busy"! She proceeded to say that the other guy that was up front with her doesn't help her when she needs so she wouldn't help him. Now the problem is.... Customer service isn't what it used to be! Here she is yelling that it isn't her responsibility and she's busy and refuses to help him! What she failed to realize is that I was the customer and that I needed the help, not her co-worker. So the manager comes out and doesn't do a thing. She asks why is the guy cleaning the front dining area before 11pm and then she disappears from the scene. I finally got my order placed and I was on my way to deliver it. Sad to say that they have lost me as a customer, (there is a popeyes on every corner), and I will be sure to let everyone know how rude and totally unprofessional the people are that work there. That should never happen when you are supposed to be working. If you dont like what you do, then get another job!! I have been in the restaurant business for over 15 years and I know it isn't easy to deal with a lot of different people, but last night was ridiculous and very unprofessional. This is by far the worst experience I have had with Popeyes. I pulled up to place my order, the DT attendant was not pleasant, and was rushing me. I get to the window the girl has no smile, no courtesy, nothing took my card, as I am making space for my drink I hear behind me:" here" to return my card. I grab it. My food arrives, and the breading is falling off the shrimp 🍤, it's greasy and barely warm! I usually get crunchy shrimps, which is why It is the ONLY thing I eat from there. I was starving because I had to work early in the morning and after work I ran errands since it is a busy day before Thanksgiving and the road are crowded, I did not stop for food until I was done around 3p. I decided there was no one in line, and I saw maybe 2 guests inside the building as I was driving around. So ai am not sure why they rushed to cook the food or if it sat there too long 🤔, but the way it was wet and soggy, I can tell you it was briefly dropped in the oil then removed. To avoid food poisoning, because this is seafood we are talking about here, I ate just my biscuit, which was hotter than my shrimps, then had to drive 35 more minutes home, in order to throw it in the air fryer to finish the cooking process myself. Why pay $14 for a meal if I was going to cook it myself and waste ⛽️ smh. Never again! I should know better than to order in that area anyway. Back to Charles County, I will.

So I went here today , June 7 at 9:50pm. I waited at the drive through with NO RESPONSE for 12 minutes. I’m a patient person. I stated “HELLO”. The guy on the receiving in stated “Hello”. that’s it. I then stated “are you ready to take my order.” He replied “let me get ready, go ahead.” I’m so confused but remained calm and polite. I ordered 24 ghost pepper wings and a 3 piece dinner. I pulled around to check my food and realized that I was missing a side order, so I had to pull around to the drive through again. Something told me to pull everything out of the bag after the 2nd time. So i pulled to the front and took everything out and realized that I had been missing another side order. I pulled around to the drive through again for the third time and the guy didn’t say anything. Like sir, why wasn’t all my food in the bag. I spent my hard earned money on this food, so yes I wanted everything. THIS WAS A FAIL. I got home and the ghost pepper wings were all hard. My teeth hurt trying to bite into them. I come here all the time usually in the afternoon. This experience LITERALLY left a bad taste in my mouth. We had to throw the wings...
