This location is generally pretty good. They get people in & out- even when it’s extremely busy & the staff is friendly. Today I went in to do some returns & I waited in line for about 20 mins before I was 2nd in line to be served.
This random girl walked in the store, past every person in line & jumped in front of everyone with an Amazon return (like many of us had) and asked the worker to do her return. I spoke up & said hey, there’s a line & she said I just have something to scan & I replied, we all just have something to scan, I have an Amazon return too & so do others, but we all waited. There were at least 7 other people behind me and one lady in front of me & we were all waiting patiently. The worker asked her how many items did she have that needed to be scanned & returned & he let her skip us, why- I have no idea, maybe he knew her & that’s just something they regularly do.
Even though the store was full at the time I went, no one was complaining, no one was yelling at them to hurry up, no one was doing any of that. Aside from two toddlers talking & entertaining each other like children do, we were all just waiting our turns.
and the gag is, after he helped her, she stayed in the store b/c she had to package her SHEIN items for them to ship out, so she wasn’t even fully ready.
If that customer would’ve already been in the store & had started yelling & screaming at the staff demanding service instantaneously & they made the executive decision to do that to get her out, I could totally understand, but that wasn’t the case at all.
Now I know whenever I go to this location with any of my Amazon returns, I can just hop to the front regardless of how long everyone else is...
Read moreHad a large package that was really time sensitive to get out. Came into this store and there was two employees, myself and a couple getting a passport done for their baby. The young lady assisted me as well as she could but wasn’t knowledgeable enough to assist me without asking her co-worker questions. She had to go to him 3 times and each time his face would frown up, either at her because she couldn’t assist me by herself or because he was having a bad day. I even said that I can wait, no rush even if this process took an hour because I really need to get it done today. We’re also only feet away from each other and he’s passing cranky messages thru her to me instead of just saying it directly to me, which would have took seconds. Basically said they didn’t have a box to fit it in the end. I had to go 15 miles over to Alexandria, Va.(Dukes Street) and was there for approximately 10 minutes and was shown the 30x30x18 box that was needed for my item and they took it and packed and shipped with no issues at all. The Maryland location never said they just don’t have the box I need in stock. She looked up places and said I could try Home Depot, Lowe’s, Staples, Michael’s, etc. Hate to say it but certain areas get better service. Again the young lady was helpful but not knowledgeable but the older guy chose not to be courteous, kind...
Read moreStaff are friendly and efficient at Richey Station Court. I am thanking God that this place was built within the last couple of years as the other local ups establishments have long lines and the employees at the one in Mitchellville (the woman) is gruff and unhelpful. She would watch you struggle to lift a package or just has a very Surly attitude. During the height of covert she refused to wear a mask. At Ritchie Court Ups I have never experienced anybody who's been unpleasant at this particular location at Ritchie Station Court I really appreciate that they are so professional and courteous to customers....
