Quickway Hibachi — Restaurant in Maryland

I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.

I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce. The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable. I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. Don't order from DoorDash and pick it up. You'll thank me later. When I ordered from doordash, I had to wait 40 min to pick it up. When I got to the store to pick up my food their was a rude lady who called out the number I show here my phone and I see 2 bag behind her.she all rudely said you got wait over their till we call your order as she pointed at the corner next to the machine. So I waited. I waited, and she called out all the other orders except mine. Till everyone was cleaning and a staff member who was cleaning told her what about her she never received her order. I give my one star for the ease of ordering and the website. Maybe I’m spoiled by actual hibachi restaurants? The food looked pretty good upon opening the container. It smelled amazing too! My rice was still white under the tiny portion of fried rice. My noodles were over cooked, stiff, bland, and dry as EVER even with soy sauce. Some of my chicken was over cooked tremendously. Hard and crunchy. Although the portions are great with the exception of not enough rice, the quality of the food was bad. This was my first experience with them. Maybe I’ll go in to order next time and request fresh food?? I’d honestly rather go try the Hanabi Hibachi across the street before going back here. Maybe theirs will be a little better.
