Harps Food Stores — Local services in Fort Gibson

The store is the only grocery store in Fort Gibson & because we would have to travel to other towns for lower prices we are stuck paying hirer price at harps! The younger staff is awful they have absolutely no respect for older patrons. They do not assist unless forced to & whoever is responsible for the electric carts never keeps the carts charged they leave it to the customers. My last trip I had to change carts 3 times because they kept dying on me at no time did ANY EMPLOYEES offer to assist me & the same thing happened to my 82 yr old father the prior week. Good selection and nice, friendly people, good sales keep me coming back. Bakery people do an amazing job on their cakes and cookies. Highly recommend. Clean store. Only knock is that I have had issue with some bad meat, but the manager made it right. Hopefully this issue got fixed. They seem to have a better selection overall than that big store in Muskogee. Also, watch their fuel prices, I've gotten fuel here and the price didn't match the display on the sign. I am sure a computer error but they weren't happy I pointed it out, but it is what it is. I did not like this grocery store one bit. I came out of my way to check out the produce in this store, & I was pretty disappointed. The produce section is very well kept, but literally every apple I looked at was flawed. Some items are much more expensive than at other stores, and the selection is very small unless you're looking for bruised, pitted apples.
