This place is a joke!!!! They do not disclose any and all construction projects to you before you move in. The garage drilling all day for months now, the roof repair noise. You cannot work from home! The common areas have no wifi. The pool is closed and will be for years. They said a couple months but now it's been years, urine smell across the whole building. Management are nice to get you in, then rude when you have concerns or complaints! Please look at the yelp reviews. Not good! Stay away! You totally DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY PROJECTS!!!!! HELFEN OMG is all I can say! "e will be placing a one-time concession of $250 on each account to be applied towards the May rent. As a reminder, you will continue to have access to the pool deck to sunbathe, lounge, and use the BBQ grills throughout the project. A tent will be placed over the pool and the fence will remain around the pool while it is under construction." Are you serious Camden?! Let's see how the news story goes when we reach out to ABC, NBC and CBS local affiliates. Would any of you lay by the pool or have a BBQ with friends with the way the pool deck looks? Really? I feel like we are just rats in a lab cage - you really do not care. I love that the Corporate site has a link for "Camden Cares"..no you do not. Wow, Wow, Wow. This is the worst place I have ever lived in - EVER. 2Axt Uzcate AXTRID UZCATEGUI Dean/Shannon/Ernesto, Please provide an answer in this public forum to each of the following questions: 1. Can you provide how it was determined that just a one- time concession during May would suffice? 2. What is Camden going to provide for the construction term ? l.e. is the monthly concession going to be applied to every month thereafter . Please provide new solutions. ECar CARON HELFNER concession of 250 for 1 month and a 1x a month resort pass is insulting and unacceptable for a luxury building we signed a lease promising these amenities Ne need the opportunity terminate lease. I have lived here for 2 yrs and was never told about ongoing construction , no security where anyone can come in or use our dog park with NO spot lights, no guest parking and them having to pay at another location. Elevators not meeting code inspection or this building being out of compliance for handicap access. I am embarrassed and appalled how this entire process has been handled. After living in Aventura for 35 yrs owning my own home and selling. Then coming to Camden as our first apartment because we liked what was presented has been the biggest disappointment and mental nightmare!! People ise a pool as they would the gym to destress on a daily basis. People don't want to leave the building for a resort pass or community pool!! This has left many dealing with anxiety, isolation, and tremendous frustration . You can not say you understand when we are paying high rent with 1 yr out to complete if not longer. There is a reason management turn over has been so high. Bjare fischg JARED FISCHGRUND Dean, please call me. I'd like to have a conversation with you in regards to the town hall amd the current offer. Ty DEVIN KOLODZIEJ The e mail states the $250 will be a one time thing for May. Is the pool opening in June? No. This is still a terrible approach to make things better. Save the response of reimbursement for pools and rideshare. It's pathetic. DiNap TEA DINAPOLI January 2025 for the pool to be done...LO L. With only $250 rent reduction for May? Or we get a pass to a public pool? THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE COMMENTS OTHER RESIDENTS HAVE POSTED ON THE CAMDEN PORTAL. LOOK AT YELP. I HAVE SAVED ALL THE REVIEWS AND POSTED THE "ACTUAL" THINGS RESIDENTS SAY! CAMDEN MANAGEMENT ARE LIARS AND WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU HERE. THEY WILL LIE ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. THEY JUST ANNOUNCED THE POOL WILL NOT OPEN TILL JANUARY OF 2025!!!!! AND THEY KUST TRICKED PEOPLE TO LEASE THE POOL VIEW FOR EXTRA MONEY PROMISING IT WILL BE OPENED SOON. LIARS!!!! NO ETHICAL CODE WHATSOEVER!!! Btw...the pool is still closed after all this time!!!! Glad we...

I have been asked to discuss my review with the building…so, I have agreed to edit my tone. The universe challenge is: which building sucks the least! HAHA!
DO YOUR RESEARCH! (Our community board insists that the 5-star reviews are plants! I would have to agree…)
Beautiful pool, nice gym, love the walk-in closet, nice finishes and awesome balcony in a great location!
Some honesty…I was told everything is included and then I fought with Xfinity to get internet free(over a week no internet while working from home). We receive water bills sporadically because the building all shares the water and it’s divided up by square footage of your apartment…yes, you could be paying for someone else’s water. It’s 90% of the time very difficult getting into the building or using the elevators with the APP(ask ANY resident-no service, no app-always carry your key fob). You should protect your dog from some of the dogs they allow into the building(no screening required). There are no active cameras monitoring the mine fields of dog 💩and 💦 everywhere. The water has a yellow hue, welcome to Fort Lauderdale. There is an approximate $80 “convenience fee” for paying your rent online, but you are more than welcome to take a check to PUBLIX, like the grocery store a block away, to pay your rent. I was quoted $11,000.00 to break my lease. The “payment plan” I was offered was two installments of 5 grand-ish. Not doable, so stayed a 2nd lease, yes, by choice, cuz it’s pretty and I can deal with the above mentioned items.
I will also now state that we have had cockroaches for months…I believe we have had 4 treatments and are still seeing babies. (Update: had another treatment…waiting) Construction both across the street and next door must have an effect as maintenance has stated “this is NOT a dirty apartment AT ALL.”
Recently did a screenshot of my community inbox while chatting on our community wall with these building notifications; one screenshot of a 5-day span: 1) AC outage in resident lounge 2) water shut off building-wide 3) parking garage construction still on two separate floors in addition to adding a restaurant downstairs(totaling a reduction of over 30+ parking spots! - explained later) 4) hot water malfunction in building 5) lights out in the garage and hallways…one week/plus more that couldn’t fit in the single screenshot.
The maintenance staff is so, so kind and the dog park is cute! As you can read, the leasing staff and front desk staff have been very helpful and are always smiling…
I will also add that there is a floater apartment that employees use. I found out because this am I was told to exit the elevator 1st cuz “I’m too hung over to function quickly.” He told me he was company staff visiting with a friend staying here in our building.
Now, we are dealing with more parking garage concerns…We had guest parking when I entered my lease and now no guests at your home. Most recently, they’ve told us they’re taking away SUV parking on one entire floor and are asking people to be “kind” and park small cars up top…responses from residents have been “I see a spot I park and go home…it’s the buildings issue for not having assigned spots.” And now, we have a new restaurant coming in the building and I’ve had confirmation that the restaurants lease with the building gets 10 of our parking spots assigned to them and they’re adding a sidewalk so their customers can stand and wait for their reservations…oh and cars park at our leasing office to use the barbershop in the building, too. Many little things to consider…the “Camden Value and Culture” they have posted on my review. PS…I come from NYC.
At the end of the day, you have to choose your battles. I chose to stay here because moving is absolutely horrible(which they know) and when I’m in my home, I love it!
Have your agent do the due diligence is all...
Read moreI lived in Camden for four years and moved out in October 2024. Although I thought the location was great. And I did have a nice three bedroom apartment. The experience of living there was subpar. Almost from the moment I moved in construction started on the garage that took a couple years at minimum. It was also long-term construction on the roof, construction on the balconies, although I understand improvements and upgrades need to be made for a long while the communication of these projects, the expectations and most importantly the timeframe on how long it would take is quite accurate. The property is not maintained well whatsoever. The maintenance team is great. I’ll give them credit. But is constantly garbage laying around in the hallways in the garage, there is dog poop all over the property as people have posted online while I had access to the chat room. The worst part was the announcement of the closure of the pool. Although we got notice in November or December 2023 that the pool would be closed at that time, but it should only be closed for about 3 to 4 months. Very little detail was given to what was going on. And then in April a couple of weeks before the project was supposed to be finished, management sent out a letter that the pool was going to be closed for another whole year. They called the Townhall, which was a complete disaster. They were not prepared, they brought in construction and apartment experts and pool experts to make us understand. Now granted I don’t wanna be in an unsafe building. But all they offered us back then, this was about a year ago. It was a $250 one time credit. Yeah, they threw in where we could go to the beach and get an Uber once a week and then they did this resort pass for $100 once a month and then they upped that to 200 I believe. That is not what we’re paying for. I understand the people who work in the building are just employees of Camden and they have to toe the line of the message that is being presented to them. I spoke to several people who are at that town hall, and people who moved in afterwards were all misled on the timing of when the pool would be completed. Doesn’t it so to live in south Florida during the summer and the hot spring and not have a pool Thrilled that I moved out. When they gave me my renewal notice, the rent was slightly raised. Which is ridiculous and an embarrassment. Based on all the other construction projects over the four years, I was there. I felt quite confident the pool would not be done in January 2025 as they have promised the entire year. It is now May and from the reviews that I read currently the pool is still closed. It’s funny to read management responses to the bad reviews that they want to talk to you in person, they did that to me when I posted some slightly negative comments on the chat board. It was a waste of 20 minutes of my day because all they did was get the same lame excuses that they give on their responses to these negative comments. I am a pretty calm and relaxed person, and I understand that things happen. I have a hard time believing any of these good reviews are really good or real. And a lot of people in the building and besides the location and the maintenance crew no one was particularly happy. If there’s any typos, this is voice texting. I will give them a little credit when they repainted the building. It looked a lot nicer than the old colors of paint. Besides that I have nothing else to say, yeah, the elevator...
