Last week the recliner cord on our Natuzzi couch broke. (The couch is more than 12 years old and these things do wear over time so it is not very surprising and should not reflect poorly on the company.)
For a few days, I searched online for a replacement and found out that there are SEVERAL variables that go into finding the right replacement part (overall length, length of exposed portion at the bottom, type of connector/hook at the bottom, type of pull at the top, etc).
It was hard to decide which cord to purchase, so eventually I decided just to contact the manufacturer and see if they could help me locate a replacement.
I spoke with Jenny for a few minutes and she was very nice and very helpful.
First she explained that they normally send authorized repair companies to do these repairs so they do not stock the replacement parts in the store.
I explained that I had already removed the old cord myself and could easily install the replacement part if they could provide it or tell me where to locate it.
She told me to email pictures of the label on the couch for the model number and she would contact the company to see what could be done.
The next day, I received an email saying that the company was sending the replacement cord to the store! (I had even told her that we did not purchase the couch from her store, but that was not a problem.)
A few days later, I received another email that the item had arrived and I could just go to the store to pick it up!
When I arrived, I spoke with Oscar who was told to expect me and he gave me the parts at no charge! (I only needed 1, but they sent TWO replacement cords because that couch comes with 2 recliners!)
Really a very pleasant experience and a very professionally run company with great customer service!

I had ordered the Iago collection in their best leather for that model and out of the four pieces, only one was in the leather I ordered-Mind you, at this point I had already waited seven months for this couch- Had it not been for Tatiana, I don’t know if they would have corrected their mistake as I got the impression they did not believe me. Anyways, they provided me with a loaner similar to mine, after I almost demanded one (up until that point they had not offered a different solution other than reordering) and I had to wait another five or six months. I received my couches and they look beautiful and are super soft and easy to recline. So I guess my real rating is: 3* for Natuzzi itself 4.5* furniture 5*...
