I just had an appointment at the Fort Lauderdale location and have several concerns regarding what I just experienced, prompting me to contact corporate. I booked a Blow Out appointment. The definition of a blow out is to blow dry the hair with volume and use heat to create a voluminous look. My stylist blow dried my hair completed flat and straight, with some minimal round brushing and then curled it with a 1.5 inch curling iron. I could have done that at my hotel before attending my event. I tipped her because I know she had good intentions, but this place should not be advertising blow outs when it is a āblow dry then curlā service. That is not a blow out. I have had several blow outs and have never received what just happened. She put no product in my hair for volume or hold except minor light hair spray at the end: when I said there was not enough volume, I was told to flip my head upside down and that was it. To make matters worse the woman next to me was also upset, and also attending a wedding after confirming they offered a particular style when booking her appointment. The way they responded to her concerns and frustrations was distasteful and it did not seem like anyone there cared about doing what the customer asks. A stylist even made a joke about astrology being in retrograde in respond to the customer being upset, instead of apologizing and trying to take accountability. I did not even bother complaining because I was witnessing how they were responding to the other wedding attendee, which was dismissive. My service was absolutely not worth the $49 + tip. I could have blow dried my hair without product straight then curled it myself. I also had to cancel my make up appointment because I was told two days prior that although it says $70 online for make up it is $110. Thatās a huge difference in price, so I was forced to do my own make the day of the event. I am leaving this review because the service is not as advertised and somehow theyāre getting away with it. Thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCHECK YOUR CREDIT CARDS !!! Owner chargers members more without communicating or their consent !!! Natalia is horrible with her customers , after 3 years of being on a membership, doing all services provided , including makeup, last time i was there took a little bit longer for my hair, now first let me say i am the most understanding person also business owner . She rudely text me when i left she was charging me more because of more time , never even had the decency to call me, and itās not about the money at all because i went back to pay full price because my hairstylist Briana is AMAZING ! Get this though, i was already charged extra money before i got the text!!! But because she is so rude and inconsiderate she didnāt even say hi to me and or apologize when i told her it was wrong to text a customer and not to call them. Her excuse was a customer was waiting so i had to charge you extra. Who do you think keeps that money? The owner ! I was still only an hour of service i still came back after all of this . Instead of communicating with me like a normal human being and a customer who supported her business especially during covid she told me to never come back in her salon again because i called her out on charging people without explaining to them . Because i told her itās wrong to overcharge customers without letting them know first in a professional way instead she runs your credit card before your permission! She treats everyone like she is entitled you donāt text a customer and then charge their card they trust you with on file without asking for permission ! Itās the principal , itās my pleasure to never step foot in a salon who doesnāt care about their customers or their employees because the employees are the ones being screwed over , not me and itās not fair !!! I give this place 6 months before it completely goes out of business . The hairstylist Briana is amazing if you do come to this place make sure u donāt leave your card...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is really the most unprofessional business I have dealt with in awhile. I made an appointment online for a blowout - I get a weekly blowout. I was called the next evening telling me that they don't accept appointments on the half hour....why would your system allow this then? I agreed to change my appointment to the hour mark then I am asked to give a credit card.
I was in the car and on my 25th call for the day since I'm self employed. I said I can't get to my card because I am driving (and it's late) - and I really can't call you back today - I'm exhausted. I'm happy to paypal you the entire amount to prove I will show up or you can send me a link to submit my info but I can't do another call. Edwina said she would text me and I could take care of the credit card issue via text. Never got a text.
Today- I received 6 emails asking me to confirm - confirmed 2x thru those emails. Two hours later I get another call and a voicemail threatening to cancel my appointment if they don't hear from me by end of day since they don't have my credit card.
Sincerely - that was too much.... the threat and unprofessionalism. You should not have an appointment system on your website if it is taking appointments for times you do not offer-and not getting the info you need to secure the appt. Just do things right from the start and there would be no issue. Or follow thru on what you said you would do and text me a link or ask for a paypal. I don't even want to frequent a business that treats their...
