Studio 703 is like a hidden gem on a corner in Ft. Lauderdale and it is because of all the passion that Bob puts into his craft and all the love and care that he shows his clients. This review specifically focuses on him because he is why we go to Studio 703. I happened to find out about the place through an online search when my daughter wanted to get her hair highlighted but she wanted to try a new place out. The reviews were great, making it a stand out place, so there we went. Immediately upon meeting Bob and hearing him speak of my daughter’s hair (its condition and what it needed and would look good with her), we couldn’t wait to work with him. But, sadly, he just happened to be there on his day off and had wanted to help us out with some ideas before he left (he was on his way out) because he had overheard us speaking with the receptionist, asking for help with her hair after a bad experience elsewhere. So, we were not able to work with him then but, do to his amazing kindness and generosity with his time, he made an exception and came in to work with her on another one of his usual days off. (Be sure to call ahead and ask for an appointment with Bob on one of his regular days in, Monday-Thursday, if you want to be sure to get him!). My husband took our daughter that day and even he was quickly impressed by Bob. (Within the first 20 minutes or so of watching him work on our daughter’s hair and hearing him speak of his ideas and the process, my husband basically texted me on how impressed he was with Bob’s knowledge and ease in communicating everything to them and making them feel both comfortable and excited for what was to come.) It is quite evident that Bob is a master stylist with the knowledge and skills, passion and consideration, and interpersonal connection that are so hard to find, all in one person. Thank you, Bob, for making our daughter feel so special and look so amazing! The love and joy you have for what you do truly shines through and we appreciate you sharing your...
Read moreThis is the Most dishonest , immoral, unethical hair salon I have used. The first and second time I gave them the benefit of the doubt , the third time was so bad that I had to walk out . This salon has the highest turnover rate (you never see the same hairdresser/receptionist twice) because the owner is very rude and very cheap to them. on the other hand they are very dishonest and increase the price EVERY time (Cheap to their workers , expensive to their clients) The first time I called for bleach and ton (roots 2inch, very short hair) the owner said $175 , when I arrived the changed her mind and said no I will do it for $230 this time , but next time If you keep it less than 2 inch I will do it for $199. I asked :what happened to $175 over the phone? In a very nasty way she said : My business , I can change my mind and price. The third time I said ok My roots are less than 2 inch , she said no I want $230 Take it or leave it. I told her: $10 for bleach + $10 for tonner 1hour and 1/2 work you want to charge me $100 per hour to bleach and ton my 2 inch roots roots? I have people with 2 bachelor degrees that do not make $100 but you do not have neither high school diploma nor any certification want to charge $100 per hour ? that's why the place was empty and going out of business soon very soon: Note: Don't believe the good reviews , they are not real , they are purchased !!!! Beside Luis and her 65 years old ex-boyfriend BOB you will NEVER see any other permanent or qualified hairstylist All conversations were recorded and will be published!!! If you doubt my honesty , I have ALL conversations RECORDED and will make : a you tube video a Facebook video, Instagram video and a Tic-tac video with All...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my haircut with the owner, Bob Pitts, which is unfortunate because I’ve been to him several times before. I was happy with the style of my hair prior to the appointment and asked for a 1-2 inch trim. Because Bob was distracted the entire time, he ended up getting one side drastically shorter than the other. After his several attempts to fix the cut, I lost closer to 5 inches of length. He also left me with an extremely uneven face frame that isn’t blended and looks choppy. He didn’t even make an attempt to layer or point cut my hair and so it looks chunky at the ends. This is all disappointing because all though hair slowly grows back, I have wedding photos coming up and my hair won’t look remotely close to how I envisioned. In addition, he did not wash or blow dry my hair- only ran a flat iron through it in the beginning. My first experience with Bob was good but I’ve noticed he’s gradually gotten complacent and no longer seems attentive. He likely realized the disaster of the hair cut he gave because he “comped” it without me saying a word- this however, doesn’t change that I now have to spend the time and money at another salon and lose 6 inches of hair in the process of fixing it. I cannot recommend Bob or this salon. The photos shown were taken...
