I told this hobby shop on instagram a card they listed on ebay was STOLEN AND THEY SOLD IT A COUPLE DAYS LATER KNOWING IT WAS STOLEN. So basically I Had a card I bought through ebay stolen in the mail after authentication and saying it was delivered. Not sure how someone stole it to be honest but it ended up being taken into this shop (which is like 20-30 minutes from where I live), bought by this storefront, and listed on ebay by this hobby shop. The comp sites say it was sold in the last day or two. I contacted this store through their Instagram and they didn’t offer to make a police report or anything. Just offered an apology instead of trying to catch who did it. Nor offer me a chance to buy it back. I didn’t press it either as I was seeing what they’d do (to my disappointment they did what I thought they’d do)They said they would recognize the person who brought it in but that’s not very helpful. I’m also missing another card from that same week time span not sure what happened to it. Ebay reimbursed me thankfully and it’s not a big card but it’s a card I WANTED. Rubbed me the wrong way that they KNOWINGLY SOLD A CARD THAT I REPORTED STOLEN TO THEM only a couple days prior before them selling it. I know it happens but they didn’t seem to care. I attached pictures of a couple things and have the full conversation screenshotted. The pictures show I bought it, saying delivered although it was stolen, the sale from this shop, and proof of me being reimbursed. Like I said it’s not about the money it’s about them KNOWINGLY SELLING A CARD THAT I REPORTED STOLEN TO THEM JUST A COUPLE DAYS PRIOR TO THE SALE and not offering any type of help or try to catch the THIEF.
