Dillard's — Local services in Fort Myers

I went to Dillards in search for a new perfume, the ladies section was well stocked and nicely taken care of. I am not one for employees hovering over me and pressuring me into what to buy, the lady at the counter quickly caught on to that. She let me be at my leisure and told me if I needed any assistance where I could find her. When I made my decision I went to where she said she could be found, and asked her to check the price on the perfume I wanted. She gladly grabbed the bottle and checked the price on it, asked if I needed anything else and I mentioned to her that there was another perfume I was interested in but wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to it yet, she was more than happy to grab the perfume I wasn’t ready to buy yet and put it in a little tester bottle for me to take home. I was so pleased with the customer service at this location, the employee was super helpful and picked up on my cues of wanting to be alone and look at my own leisure, the store is kept clean, and it was all around a great experience. I am happy with my purchase, and I’m so happy with the customer service there. Thank you, Dillards for hiring great people.

The employees name is Maria, she was super sweet and I definitely recommend asking for her if you need any assistance in the lady’s perfume section.

If I could give 0 stars I would but that is not an option. My mother went in to shop for my 98 year old great grandmother who can’t shop for herself anymore. Clearly my great grandmother and my mom do not wear the same size however that is besides the point. When my mother approached the counter to check out , the clerk so VERY RUDELY looked at my mother with disgust all over her face and told my mom that the sweater she was purchasing was not her size and told her she was in the petite section and then pointed her to the plus size section and handed the sweater back to my mother. My mom was in such shock and disbelief this woman just said that to her. My mom handed her back the sweater and told her she was purchasing the sweater for her grandmother. The clerk changed her face to a smile and thought she was going to make a sale. WRONG! My mom told her she no longer wanted the sweater and walked out. You DO NOT speak to anyone like that. I don’t care who you are. Unfortunately my mom was in such shock and her feelings were so hurt she hurried out of the store to her car to call me so she did not get the clerks name. The location is Fort Myers the time was 3:50 on Friday October 20th. She was in the women’s section so hopefully that will help you identify the employee. I still can’t believe this happened. This may be just the individual that is nasty and rude but my mom now feels so cautious about going anywhere let alone Dillards to shop...

I don’t recommend James Avery in this location well with one of the ladies that work there I wish I would have gotten her name she gave me her card told me to message her and to make sure she was working when I came in to do purchases well I lost the card and ended up purchasing online and I went today to have the charms put on my bracelet I had 9 charms total and was going to be purchasing a couple more things that I forgot… once I told her that I came to put the charms that I bought online she was like why why did I buy them online and not with her then she stated that she couldn’t put the charms on that I would have to leave my bracelet and pick up Friday and today is Wednesday so a whole 2 days to put 9 charms and I told her is there anything you can do I don’t live around the corner I drove an hour and she’s like no sorry I can’t and she’s wasn’t busy there wasn’t anyone but her and myself so I called coconut point Dillard’s and the sweet lady there automatically told me sure yes I can put your charms on without having to say I was going to purchase anything… she also did it within an hour of closing that’s what you call good customer service I will no longer give dillards at...
