These people/company are the worst people to have water through. We had an outside leak at our house (we rent) the water company didn’t notify us until After the leak was fixed and the only said they would take off the sewer portion of the bill. Now our account is still $200 more than what it should be. Then they cut our water off today, my his husband is a disabled veteran who’s home all the time with our 3yr old and 7month old. So today I get the call while I’m at work letting me know they shut our water off. We had to pay $300 to get our water back on, I called the water company and asked if it was legal to shut water off with children in the home and they said it is. And I’m like that has to be a joke. And the way they act like they don’t even care. It’s beyond frustrating, I told them they’re worse than any other place we’ve ever had water through and all I got was silence. Oh AND I had to pay the $40 reconnection fee because they gave us a waiver for it last month as we were figuring out the leak. I absolutely hate this place and if there was a different water company I’d switch...

This city could do a better job at making its roads a little safer. My fiancée was headed to work and was wanting to turn left from northbound Dietz Road onto Battlefield Pkwy but the lane markings with the left turn into Publix (see red line in attached picture) forced her into the right turn lane, causing her to make a right instead of a left on Battlefield, which very much stressed her out and made her late for work because it was very difficult to find a good place to turn around.

Also, it would really be nice to have a better system for citizens to submit work requests like through an app like what Chattanooga TN uses, because the public works department doesn’t seem to answer all...

My husband lost his job due to COVID. We were a week late paying our water bill because we are tight on funds. On top of getting a late charge, we now have to come in person to make payments. To make matters worse, we got a notice that we would have to appear in court if the balance was not paid in 10 days. This really goes to show that Fort Oglethorpe does not care about their residents or what financial hardships they may be going through. Just a heads up, go work a corner in Roseville if you’re broke so you can at least make enough to pay your water bill so you don’t have to...
