Fort Scott Lofts is great. I had an apartment there for two years and loved it. This refurbished office building, which is right in the middle of a very walkable downtown, is attractive, nicely updated, safe, secure, and solid as a fortress. Even during severe rainstorms, I was unaware of the wind and rain unless I was looking out a window right then, and my highest monthly electric bill was less than $50. The property manager, Rachel, is highly professional, organized, knowledgeable, and really knows her stuff. She is is kind and caring, but knows what goes on and doesn't tolerate unacceptable behavior, rules violations, etc. She keeps the complex up nicely, organizes nice social opportunities and makes Fort Scott Lofts a nice and welcoming...

As it gets colder, the roaches subside, but the residents remain scattered across the curbs. They're all friendly, but haggard, reminds you of a souther bus station. The elevator makes you wonder if you'll find your next destination or your final, but for whatever reason, you'll roll the dice because the stairs are awkwardly elongated.
