0 stars for the young lady working the front service chair today. I wasted my time trying to get a simple gel polish service here. The young lady who I had the misfortune of being paired with, lacks customer service skills (no greeting nor acknowledgement- and it was not due to a language barrier), has a careless demeanor, and is more concerned about tending to her text messages than providing a service.
Initially, she came over to my station, didn’t greet nor acknowledge me, proceeded to look for a chapstick in a drawer, then slowly apply it. This is when I first considered asking her what was up. I decided to let it go. She eventually started and was about 30 seconds into buffing my pinky when she stopped in order to engage in a text message exchange on her phone. I sat there in disbelief of her sheer discourtesy, then decided to walk out and take my business elsewhere.
We all have important things that come up, so it is understandable to have to take a call or text. However, given the initial exchange, this young lady didn’t convey a care to provide a decent service.
The salon was not busy and it was about 3 hours before closing, so I do not understand this type of behavior. Also, please stop rushing people into picking a color. I was being asked about color (another person) without even having a palette in hand, geez!
This experience left a terrible impression and I hope that management works on rectifying this type of rude behavior from personnel.
Patrons- you don’t have to put up with lackadaisical services, take your...
Read moreHannah the shop owner has been doing my pedicures since 2016 and my nails since 2021. Recently I went in for my monthly appointment and the gel on 2 of my nails started coming off after a couple days. I called to see if I could have those 2 nails fixed before her first appointment arrived for the day. She very adamant I could not come but I could come later in the day. Normally that's fine but my schedule was busy that day. So I came the next week. I always make an appointment but 90% of the time I have to wait for her to finish up another customer and it's never a problem. But the one time a customer may or may not have to wait while she fix my nails it's a problem. Fast forward a month I go in for my appointment and I'm quite and not talking as I normally would because I'm disappointed in how she acted about fixing my nails. The same thing happens with 2 of my nails. I forget to add my appointment for the next month on her books. So I called the next day to schedule an appointment and see when I could come in to have the nails repaired and no one answered the phones. I waited and called back no answer. I finally got through today (1/21) and the young lady states she's not in. So, I'm liking what's really going on. I finally get a response I should find a new nail tech all because of me wanting 2 nails fixed and I wasn't my normal laughing joking self when I came to my next appointment. I guess loyalty means nothing after 8 1/2 years. At the least if there was an issue we should have discussed it like grown ups and not...
Read moreI visited this salon for almost 2 years every two weeks for services and spent quite a bit of money each time. When my schedule changed, and I needed to come on weekends, Ann and Hannah told me I couldn’t come on weekends. I thought the customer is the one who should be accommodated!! So I switched to a different nail salon for a few months and they did ok. Suddenly they became under new ownership and I gave them a try, but my gel manicure was horrible and the guy was extremely arrogant and rude. The next morning I went to Hannah to see if it could be smoothed out with just a topcoat. This was my worst experience ever there!!! She complained the whole time about how they don’t like picky customers or customers to even look at their nails! She bragged about they have the right to refuse anyone and they don’t have to correct any mistakes they make. I told her that here in America we have a high standard for customer service, which I provide on my job and I expect the same. If we spend our money for a service, we expect to have a great experience. She stated she didn’t care if a customer spent their money or not. She told me she didn’t want to talk anymore. Needless to say that was my last time walking through their door. I WILL NOT spend my money where it’s not appreciated. If you expect good customer service here, you won’t get it. Don’t...
