Went for service in 2/15 to get manicures with daughter. We enjoyed ourselves. My issue comes from going back on 2/18 to request another manicure with a different technician. Also, I spent $60 on our Wednesday appt and only received one reward card stamp. You’re to receive a stamp per $25 spent. I walk in around 11:30AM to first, correct the reward card issue. Thomas, the manager advises that I don’t get two stamps although I spent more than $25. He started a new card. Fine. I proceed to explain that I wanted to get a different technician to do another manicure. The cuticle area around my nails should not look this way less than 3 days later. He proceeds to loudly and aggressively explain gel vs regular polish. The chipping of them etc. Tells me the manicure is just done to put the polish on. He assumed I wanted something for free. I tell him repeatedly my issue is NOT polish, but the cuticle area. I do not wear regularly wear polish hence my coming for just a proper manicure. Thomas is loud, rude and belligerent unnecessarily. Very assumptions and does NOT LISTEN before speaking. If you can not do proper manicures, do not offer it as a service. A manicure consists of filing and shaping the free edge, pushing and clipping any nonliving tissue, then application of polish. The focus is the NAIL AND SKIN CARE. Will not return.

I have to say I am so so pleased I went to Ocean Nails the other day. I normally do my own acrylic nails because I am VERY particular about my nails and i have had quite a few not so great experiences at other nail salons that i have been to in the past. I got this set from Amy and she did an absolute phenomenal job! Every step of the way she double checked with me to see if I was happy with the shape, length, color, etc. she spent so much time filing and shaping them, making sure every nail was perfect. I also have very sensitive skin and nails. Amy took a lot of care to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be coming back!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.! I love to get my nails done, this time I wanted to venture out and try to put diamonds on my nails. Since they had good reviews on Google, I decided to go. But before I went I showed him a picture of what I wanted and ask them for a price he told me $40. I said I will be back after going to the store and when I came back they sat me down and began my nails, first off they didn't have the color I wanted, so I went and chose a closer color, a younger man started my nails, he did NOT file or cut my nails, just threw on the glue and fake nails. When he put the fake part on, he cut them down, but he didn't cut them short enough so I asked him if he could go a little shorter, he went a hair shorter and I asked to go a little more, and he sighed this UGLY sigh and went a hair shorter...so I stopped asking and kept it where he had it. THEN after another hour of filing the gel powder sooooo slowly, they were all crooked!! THEN when it came to putting on the color, he spoken Chinese which I knew he was saying " I can't paint these", so a lady ( Who I think is the owners wife now) came and painted my nails.... when it came to the UV part, I told her the light was not working. She told me yes it is and put my hand in there. Turns out I was right, it wasn't even on at all! So When she pulled out my hands to see if they were dry she touched one of my nails, she had black nail polish on one of her fingers and it smeared down my newly painted, not dried nail. Then she said oops, and got me a new UV light but never fixed my black smear. THEN it came to the diamond part, she put them on with a tiny bit of glue(so you can't see it on my nails) and then she was done. LATER THE NEXT DAY A DIAMOND FELL OFF ( and when I went back she had an attitude). Anyways when it came to paying she told me 45$ and I said he told me 40$, she said "no it's 45" so I payed her with three 20's (60$) and she took it and threw it in a drawer behind her full of other money and said "thank you, goodbye". At this point I was not going to tip so I asked for my half back...she have me 5$ back and said "okay bye bye"...so I left. Losing more money then promised and had HORRIBLE nails that actually lasted a week and a half. NEVER COMING BACK

P.s little did I know that the week before they had just gotten robbed and the wife got kidnapped. Hate to say it, but I can see why. They did HORRIBLE.

I recommend nails and beyond on camp bowie!!!!...

THIS IS STILL MY FAVORITE PLACE EVEN AFTER YEARS OF COMING HERE. This below was my first thoughts of OCEAN NAILS

I have been looking for a new technician around town because mine is no longer working at the location I went to. I read the reviews on Google about Ocean Nails and thought they have great reviews I’ll try them out. Many people mention Amy and Thomas so I hoped to get them when I arrived for my appointment. Instead Daniel ( I think this is his name) did my pedicure. It’s been five days and my feet still feel smooth and moisturized. My toes look great and I didn’t even have to tell him once what I needed him to do. Sofia did my nails and without question she did the shape I wanted. I like my nails to be narrow usually others will tell me they will break. She did an exceptional job. The entire staff is worth every cent spent. They treat everyone with care and there isn’t just one good tech in a bunch of techs, all of them are great. Thank you Ocean Nail you just made yourself a usual customer. See you in a...
