I’ve loved this dog park for such a long time but I’ve not been inclined to go here recently (I drive all the way to dallas to take my dog now) due to an aggressive dog. This happened months ago so we’ve been gone for a while, however I tried to leave a complaint on the website the day after the incident took place (that’s after being told by police the day of the incident that animal control would have to be called but it was Sunday so of course they weren’t available) but still to this day, I have yet to hear anything back. A lady with a pit mixed type dog allowed her dog to stay in the park after it literally attacked another dog and had been tormenting mine. It started off with the dog constantly biting at my dog and another dogs necks which resulted in me getting into an altercation with the other dog owner because he thought the dog biting, was mine (granted everything was happening so fast and there were a number of dogs playing). I removed my dog from the back of the park by the jungle gym area and she went to the water...the dog who was the actual aggressor followed my dog and continued to bite at her and I started to realize it wasn’t playful. I’m calling my dog to come to me but she can’t because this dog is literally harassing her and won’t let her go. After maybe 4 minutes of chasing them, I finally get my dog and I’m putting her on her leash as the other dog comes up and is again biting at her and she’s getting upset. The entire time this is all taking place (me chasing my dog after she ran to the water away from the initial altercation) we are near the gazebo thing. All this time the owner was sitting there watching her dog torment mine and never came forward when she saw I was trying to get my dog to leave and I’m also asking who’s dog is this in the process but no one says anything. I’m trying to walk off but of course the dog keeps following her so one last time I ask who’s dog is it and a huge lady finally comes over to get the dog. She grabbed him by his collar as if I was annoying her by insisting whoever get their dog. In the process of her grabbing the dog, I let her know that if her dog can’t play nice then he should be on a leash. She gets all sassy and starts cursing saying she doesn’t have to put her dog on a leash and that basically my dog shouldn’t be there if she can’t take it. I kid you not, as soon as she let go of her dog, another lady (she’d just come into the park so she had no idea of anything happening with this dog earlier) was walking up with her dog who was also still on a leash (smaller dog) and the pit mixed dog just latched on to the puppy causing it to let out these CRAZY squeals...this resulted in many people running and trying to separate the dogs. Many people left after this but of course, crazy dog owner doesn’t (not sure if she didn’t want anyone knowing what car she was in or if she really felt like her dog was playing safely and deserved to stay) so I decided to wait for her (maybe 15 minutes) so I could get her license plate as well as pictures of her and the dog. I doubt she saw me since I was being all secret detective lol but being as I messaged this place and never heard anything back, I assume aggressive dogs are what they want in their facility and with that, my sweet baby girl can’t be apart of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOG PARK UNLESS THEY CAN GET A GRIP ON CRAZY DOGS AND ACTUALLY TAKE NOTICE TO THEIR COMPLAINTS. Why have a complaints section if you aren’t even going to do anything about them? Maybe a public google review will get a response. And maybe not but just be careful if you go...dog safety is not...

The park is divided into separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring safety and comfort for all sizes. The open fields are perfect for fetch or free play, and shaded seating areas for owners are a thoughtful addition.
The park’s natural pond is a unique feature, offering dogs the chance to swim and cool off on warmer days. It’s a standout amenity that many other dog parks lack.
Z Bonz is well-maintained, with waste stations conveniently placed throughout the park. Regular upkeep ensures the areas remain clean, though busy days might see a bit more wear and tear. The grassy areas are lush, and the paths are easy to navigate.
Fencing around the park is secure, and double-gated entrances help prevent accidental escapes. The community of dog owners who frequent the park is generally friendly and attentive, making it a safe environment for dogs to socialize.

Read moreBest dog park I've ever taken my dogs to. I wish I had discovered this before losing my little sweet Pepper.... but my two new loves LOVE IT.. I highly recommend if you're coming into the park or going out... please be aware of the dog owners trying to bring their dogs in and don't just let your dogs gather up at the entrance... it's very intimidating for the dogs coming in to be greeted by this pack of dogs all over them. If you're dog is barking and nipping at other dogs and sends to narrow in on one in particular....DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR DOG!!! Thankfully, my dog, though twice as big as the "barker", is non reactive so he just looked at the dog like it was crazy but then it would nip at mine and at that point self defense gets triggered. I spent 10 minutes holding mine back from plating as this dog stayed all over us and it's owner 20 feet away, WATCHING!!! Luckily my man put a atop to it and we walked to a different part but I over heard them comment that their dog just plays like that... that's all fine and dandy but do you know how our dogs react? No you dont...look around next time you're there... watch what's normal behavior from dogs AND OWNERS......NOBIDY LETS THEIR DOGS DO...
