I was at this store on May 2, 2019 around 4 pm and the service was terrible. There was only one register open, so i thought. There was a young lady there with short hair. I asked her if she was open and she replied loudly "NO OVER THERE!" So i stood there waiting to see where over there was. I go over to the register she opened and i lay my groceries on the table and she hurriedly runs my items thru. As I am standing there waiting for the cashier to finish she is non stop talking, picking on, flirting with, jokeing with the bagger. At the same time the cashier is trying to involve me in her conversation with the bagger and i just kept quiet because it was childish conversation and I just wanted to get home and start my dinner. So they are done I leave to my car and i put my groceries away in a hot car and then remember I forgot my liquor. I hurriedly walk back in because i have those cold items in my hot car. I go to the back of the store and grabbed my bottle and head back to the self sevice cashier and I cannot complete my purchase without someone to come and approve the sale of the liquor. I stand there and no one comes. I look over to the one and only cashier and the bagger and they never once look back to me to see if I needed help or say hold on I will get you someone. The bagger sees me there and makes no signal that she notices that I need help, I guess this empty store is used to letting their customers wait. I finally spoke up and said Excuse me can someone help me over here? the casher turns towards me and turns away, the bagger never looked up, but a young lady pushing a cart an employee and she said sorry I cant do that and turned away. No one offers to get me someone, the cashier does not call someone to help, nothing. The third employee who told me she was sorry that she could not help me said she will ask someone but she waits like maybe too young and not sure to interrupt the man and woman behind a counter where you probably buy stamps or ciggarettes so she stood there waiting for someone to notice her. I walk over there and this blonde lady turns around towards me and she just looks at the botttle of liquor in my hand because I am holding up asking if I could pay for it over here. And she rudely says no! you have to buy it at the register. I said the register is broken and I have been waiting for 3 minutes and no one is offering to help. She asked me which register is broken and i said the one with the red light on and she said oh its not broken you just need someone get you thru the sale and i said well I dont know all I know is no is i have been waiting for three minutes and no one asked if I needed help. She said oh i was only gone for three minutes and I said two minutes too long to be waiting and no one notices a customer standing here and those girls at the registers knew i was here and they did nothing. I put my liqour on the scale and complete my sale and this blonde girl I know now is a manager told me "oh your liquor can wait a few minutes" I told her its not the liqour is the wait and no one came to assist their customer, no one called anyone to assist the customer, no one let the customer know that someone will be on their way! The mgr walks to the register and she loudly says "NEXT TIME YOU SEE THAT MAN STANDING OVER THERE YOU CALL ME LOL HE IS MAD BECAUSE HE HAD TO WAIT AND YOU GUYS DIDNT CALL SOMEONE LOL!! They all laughed me their customer out the door! I have a choice to make turn into Bashas, or make a right and turn into Frys and on May 2nd 2019 at 4 pm I made the wrong turn. No More Bashas i will be going make a right to Frys Market Place where all their registers are open and always willing to assist their customer regardless of their...
Read moreThis place scares me. NEVER in my...um... totally 73... years of living, has a groshre store terrified me- yet this one does. The silence; you walk in to silent.... not quiet. For it is empty empty empty... something about how there, too, is only one row of isles.... it feels liminal. While many drinks of all kind- soft, hard, spiked, juice, coffee, etc-, it still all feels for lack. I am genuinely terrified of this establishment... for the only positive is that there is the smallest Starbux at the first entrance.... oh- and snax, too . For that, not the point... yes, while it has most of anything you could need on your average shopping cart (unless ur looking for asin foods/ingredients... witch they only have rice and a few sauces), the fact of its silence, emptiness, and lack for any form of life and personality leaves it to terrify me. Anytime I am told of coming to this location, I can't help but forget everything about it - that is, until I exit the car... for it all comes back of how utterly criminal to the mind that this place fully is; for though it...
Read moreThis is not a bad store. I bit on the more expensive side of groceries. I have had a few very strange and awkward interactions with an employee there. I don't want to pick on her because I do believe she is mentally handicapped but I do avoid her if she is on a register. I am adding more to this review over a year later. The employee who I mentioned earlier no longer works there, thank you for that. But this review is more about the store in general. I do not use this store to do the bulk of my shopping I only use it to pick up small items and what not. As of most recently this store isn't even good for that. I have found many expired foods on the shelves and being completely out of stock of simple produce like green bell peppers. I miss when Eddie Basha was alive and in charge, this chain of stores used to be worth a damn but...
