Park Avenue Jewelers — Local services in Four Corners States

Unreal experience here. My fiance and I went in to see about getting an heirloom engagement ring resized for me. The young woman who helped us initially was friendly and professional, but when she called the older gentleman from the back for a second opinion, everything went downhill fast. He was back there watching something on TV very loudly. The young woman asked him twice to turn it down and he didn't respond. He was also eating, and since we were there at 1pm, I didn't think him eating lunch was a problem, but this man did not stop eating his sandwich when he came out to talk to us. He did not wash his hands. He did not even wipe his mouth. The man's fingers were covered in yellow mustard stains when he grabbed my hand to confirm my ring size. Then he went right back to shoving his sandwich in his mouth and talking to us between chews. After they agreed on the size, they were quick to give us a quote for the work that seemed reasonable. I said I'd like a second opinion and thank God for that, because the next two places told us that sizing down as much as we needed would pose significant risk to the integrity of the ring. They told us stones could pop out and need to be reset. They told us no jeweler would be comfortable sizing down that much. So, apparently the team at Park Avenue either have a miracle worker in their lab, or mustard man would have been all too happy to take our ring and our money, botch the impossible job, and then charge us extra to fix it. We fortunately did not end up using their services. I would not recommend anyone else...

When I think of a mom and pop business that prides itself on customer service and value, I think Park Avenue Jewelers. What’s more is that Todd (owner) has a wide selection of merchandise. My son and I have been loyal to this business for a number of years. Why? Todd and his team have ALWAYS come through for us! We trust them!

Update February 2024 At Park Avenue, it’s a family affair. Not only is this a family-owned and operated business, but the staff prides itself on making my son and me (and all customers) feel like family. This time, we went in with a specialty piece that I bought on-line that needed to be resized. Without charging a penny, Todd and Ben were able to tailor that piece into something that my son could proudly display. Thanks again gentlemen!

Update Summer of 2024 Todd is absolutely one of the most honest and reputable business owners on the planet. His pieces are both finely crafted and very affordable. In fact, my son had his heart set on a particular crucifix/necklace combination that was a little out of financial reach for us. So, Todd being Todd, he discounted the pieces to the point where I don’t think he made one penny off of them. Todd knew that we would be back again in the future and his act of kindness sticks with my wallet...

It’s truly refreshing to be able to share feedback on one of the best customer service experiences EVER. Because my service request was on an expensive jewelry gift, I looked at customer reviews for good credentials and reliability. Park Avenue Jewelers ranked very, very high. Located in the Casas Adobe Shopping Center at Oracle Road and Ina, I had shopped there previously. Their beautiful jewelry pieces and custom capability impressed me. I called to see if they could assist with my request, and Park Avenue was happy to do so. We arrived a short time later. Clearly, they believe in putting the customer first. The jeweler delivered impeccable work in a timely manner. With this standard of service excellence, along with the unique jewelry seen onsite, I’m sure we will be returning to Park Avenue Jewelers for our next purchase or repair.
