My party was there around 930pm on a Friday night (they close at 11pm) we were a large party but everyone arrived separately and moved quickly through the line. The Gelato was great. I had two flavors mint and chocolate hazelnut hard to mess those up. But everyone said theirs were also good. The girls behind the counter were willing to let us try a bunch of flavors, and answer questions for me as a first timer. However I paid with cash and when the girl gave me my change she basically threw it at my hand. I normally would have brushed this off as just a bad night or misunderstanding, like she was distracted or in a hurry, but I was the last one ordering no one was waiting. Before she saw I was paying with cash she was all cheery, sweet and helpful and her demeanor completely changed when I pulled out my money. She looked disgusted to have to count out $0.21 in change. Threw it my hand and said "Here." I was really turned off by this. The seating was outside so on a November day in Tuscon no problem, but I wouldn't want to go in July and sit there it'd be a to-go only for me in the summer. There were 2 tables inside that only sat 2 people each. The white and blue futuristic theme wasn't inviting but gave the illusion of cold...
Read moreSnotty little brunet girl in her 20s who works there is very rude. My wife who speaks with a little European accent asked for candy on her ice cream and the brunet replied "We do not have candy" I pointed to the M&Ms and the sprinkles on the back shelf and asked her what is that. She replied MM and sprinkles!" What? My wife pointed to an ice cream bucket and asked if she could have a scoop of that flavor. Brunet replied, "Mam, I cannot see what you are pointing at!" I do not see how she cannot see, the windows in the refrigerated case are very large. My wife asked if she could have a sample - you know a drop on one of those pink mini plastic spoons? Brunet replied, I am sorry we do not give samples. What? That is the only ice cream place in America that does not allow you a pink spoon sample. That girl just did not like someone from another country. My wife was very uncomfortable. She stayed polite and said thank you and left. Not even a smile or have a nice day from that brunet. That is a shame to because it looked like a nice place that we were not...
Read moreI went here on a Sunday. It was super noisy inside from kid music and machines plus it smelled bad. Two out of the three employees were very strange. One was sitting at the back on his phone while another ignored my simple questions about the flavors. I went here with my parents after my birthday dinner yay. The kid at the back put down his phone for a short while to serve a different customer and I'm pretty sure he didn't wash his hands and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt that hopefully was clean because he had his arms all up in the gelato case lol. All they need to do is be a little more personable and smile every once in a while instead of looking like they're upset. I've been here quite a few times and this time may have been the last. If you're going to charge $5 for a mini gelato you might want to unstinkafi the place, turn the music down a little and be...
