Fundamental Observation 2023
This "liquid brownie batter" was aged in a blend of old fitzgerald, heaven hill, blanton's, and whistle pig 10yr bourbon barrels and finished out at a mighty 13% abv. Each barrel saw multiple additions of madagascar vanilla beans, ultimately aging the finished batch of beer with hundreds of pounds of vanilla over the course of a year.
Fococo 2023
Bottle logic pushed eight choice casks of fundamental observation through 350lbs of fresh coconut flakes and another 350lbs of hand-toasted coconut flakes to create the incredible second bottling of fococo. Tropical aromas rise from the glass and melt into a swirling flourish of velvety viscosity on the palate. The coconut addition brings a softness to the 13% abv, smoothing the experience out into a luxurious lazy river of vanilla and coconut.
Fafo 2023
Fudge almond fundamental observation, is rich and nougaty with a silky fluffiness on the palate that hits like homemade fudge. The almond aroma is unreal, and it swirls right onto the palate to run ribbons of marzipan through rivulets of chocolate.
Situational Awareness 2023
Bottle logic pulled just 8bbls of the best liquid in the barrelhouse to recirculate on 400lbs of coconut that we lightly toasted in-house for outrageous aromas of waffle cone, cocoa puffs, and coconut soft-serve. Coconut oozes through the monstrous, meringue-like body. Tip-of-the-tongue coconut sweetness develops into a rich, robust midpalate with swirls of decadent dark
Prairie Artisan Ales Lemon Slice
Sour • fruited 4.8% abv. Krebs, ok. Fruited sour with lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla.

Tap & Bottle has a very cool hipster Vive going on about it. Unfortunately though, I feel that their beer selection that something really to be desired. Their entire menu is completely dominated by the IPA varieties of beer. I'm more of a stout drinker, and when I went in the other day, I was referred to part of the menu for "Dark and Roasty". There were 4 options. Compared to the 17 IPA options, we were off to a bad start. Of those 4 Options, for whatever reason there was a Märzen in there, which is a lighter beer usually. So really i had 3 options to pick from. And of those 3, one was out. So I had 2 options. Unfortunately those last two options were a coconut Stout, and something that was about 11%. And I got to drive home.

The menu of the two times that I have gone as contained zero Red, and zero brown ales. For a "Tap Room" I find this to be pretty sad. Especially when if I am searching for those types of beers in a "Tap House", I don't think I should be referred to their large beer refrigerators for those beer types. I came here to get beer poured out of a tap. Not out of the can. if I needed that, I would go to my local grocer and get it. Especially when it is still $5 a pop for a can of beer. It just makes no sense.

Long story short, if you looking for an IPA, or a pale ale. This place has got you covered. There has a huge selection of IPA beers that will make any IPA addict extremely happy. But if you're like me and you prefer a shade darker or a wide variety, you really should search elsewhere. Unless you are comfortable drinking out of a can, while your friends sip something streight...

Tap & Bottle is a beer fanatic's haven! They have 30 taps for their most popular beers and 12 wines on tap as well (if that's your thing). Their bottle shop has an incredible amount of variety as well in every beer type. One thing I love is the representation of local AZ breweries for every variety of beer, but they have plenty of out of state distribution as well. On top of that, you'll see these companies at other stores, but you won't find these niche brews they make unless you come to T&B. They also have a selection of meads, ciders, and things like barley wines. Limited, but there are options.

Due to COVID: They do not have sit down options at this time, and only 2 people allowed in their bottle shop at a time. Its never been an issue when I've visited. You can pick your own (they provide gloves for you as well), the staff can pick them at your direction, they can fill growlers for you and even deliver to you.

The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. Its a...

What sets this place apart is its impressive selection of craft beers on tap. The aesthetics of this bar are Instagram-worthy, with sleek, modern decor, and dim, ambient lighting creating an inviting ambiance. The spacious seating and communal tables make it equally suitable for a cozy evening for two or a lively gathering of friends.

First time at the Tap & Bottle located on Oracle Rd just north of Ina Rd. The location is located in a plaza and parking could tend to be a bit challenging. I was there attending a mixer for the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Bar is very new and has a good amount of space inside. They also have a great patio, and it would be a great place to hangout before our June weather! For all you beer drinkers this is the place to come to get your taste buds excited! They have a tremendous selection of domestic and international beers. Really didn't interact with staff so I can't speak too much on service levels, but from what I could tell the staff were all smiles behind the counter. Recommend :)

I really enjoy this location, it has a similar yet unique feel to the original on 6th. This location is much more family friendly with games the kids can play and two very nice patio areas. The selection and quality of beverages here is excellent. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, they are experienced enough to provide excellent recommendations if needed. Scott and Rebecca run a great business and I readily recommend both of their locations to anyone looking for craft beer or wine, both to go or to enjoy on site in their excellent atmosphere.

I didn't have very high expectations for this place because I had a hard time imagining the "6th Ave" vibe translated/transferred to Casas Adobes area. I was wrong! Whether it's the 'same' vibe or not, I can't say, but it's a good one, and the selection of great beers makes it a great addition to the NW part of town. Now that the heat has broken, hanging out on the little patio with a tasty beer... all good! :)
