Trendz Consignment Boutique — Local services in Four Corners States

I called 3 days ago to find out how their Consignment Business worked. I was told I could come in on Mondays without an appointment and drop off up to 6 Items. The next day I came in to fill out the Consignment Form. As I was leaving, I said goodbye and will see them Monday to drop off my Items. Today (Monday), I arrived at 2:10 and waited for the cashier to finish with 2 people. When it was my turn, I was told it was too late, that you have to show up between 10-2. I said no one informed me... I do Volunteer Work (my shift is 10-2), so I would have noted that the time conflicted with my shift. The Cashier didn't express any remorse for the miscommunication, but said I could go talk to 2 other women in the back room. They were even ruder, barely giving me eye-contact, but pointing to a rack and stated how busy they were (one woman said it twice). I was hoping they would make an exception, but I didn't even get an apology. A very disappointing experience for our small town.

I have gently worn sweaters and new jackets. I am a retired professional Ballroom dancer with many blingy outfits, perfect for weddings and the Holiday Season. Sadly, they lost my business as a buyer and Contractor.

PS... I noticed another 1-Star Review (Lisa) who had a similar experience a month ago. In my opinion, Trendz did not learn from...

Similar experience as Scott Mandel. I had a beautiful glass top pedestal table that was purchased from a high-end furniture gallery that I thought the shop could use for a display or to quickly flip for a nice profit since I was going to give it to them for free. When I approached the blonde lady at the counter I said, "I have a nice high-end table..", to which she snapped back, "SIR, CAN'T YOU SEE WE DON'T CONSIGN FURNITURE!". After her comment, I explained that I was offering it for free to use for display or to sell with no strings attached, and then the woman continued in her exceptionally snotty tone saying that I could contact the "owner", to which I replied that I would offer the table to someone else and promptly left the store. This was my first and last time to go into this business. I came in to be friendly and simply offer them something really nice if they were interested, there is no excuse for the blonde woman's attitude. I for one will...

That lady that said everyone was rude, I don't know who she dealt with because everyone I have dealt with has been very nice, polite, and sometimes downright helpful.

The clothes are all in excellent shape, and the prices are pretty good. They have a variety of sizes, even plus sizes and petites.

The only complaint I can conjure up (and it pretty much is a conjuring act, as overall, the place is great) is sometimes it takes a long time to check out when there is a long line of people. There is only one computer for check out. They should put in a second one. Also, a couple times, the computer was down and they required cash, but this is not usual. A second computer would have fixed that...
