Kohls the best place I would love to do shopping !!! But not anymore ... Guys please be aware of checking your receipt while billing and returning .. I am a valid customer with kohls .. Maybe I never returned items I bought till today so I did not experience what I experienced today .. It was a really a bad experience with this store and the manager especially ..
First , the store manager was rude enough to me and my wife. I never had such a experience anywer till today.
We had to return a dress which was purchased in kohls kingstowne store .. It didn't have price tag .. But I did hold a valid receipt for it .. But they were unable to pull the item in their system ,common it's not my problem .. But they smartly deny by saying it doesn't belong to our store and you never purchased here and very importantly "they say we don't sell this brand " . And when I bought the other dress with the same brand saying you do sell this brand they say that we don't sell this design.. Omg !! Isn't that sound silly ?? Could any1 believe this,?? For god sake please give better reason .. They have thousands of design in the store could any1 identify that the item doesn't belong to the store by design .. They have made mistake while billing me .. They do know but not ready to accept it .. The store manager seriously can't express the rudeness and awful behavior to us by saying you would got that dress for free in your bag .. Is this way to talk ??? I bought that dress from their store and I have proof of receipt for it and even told to check for the last week recap if they have one be cox it was just a week before I got the dress , but not ready for it.. I have all the proof that I got from that store .. But they deny all the time by saying you did not get it from here .. We wasted our whole time explaining them which is of no gain.. I feel I need justice be cox I bought that dress in that store only.. It's completely the store mistake and they have to understand that and speak in a pleasing language to a customer instead of acting...
Read moreNever again. They should get a half star. If you try and return something from Black Friday sales they will refund you the amount minus the discounts they give you for BF item, totally ridiculous, but they will let you go through the department and find an exact value item. I spent over an hour trying to find two 9.99 items and I could not even combine the two items (9.99 x 2 = $19.98) and find one item for this price (much easier to do if you think about it). Even after the store manager got involved, so I had to take two LT shirts, which do not fit regular sized men, but Kohl's has most of their men's clothes as Tall. Everything on sale at Black Friday was Tall--what a scam. Then on top of it, after I voiced my frustration with the transaction the manager, he gave me the refund Kohl's dollar speech that someone in the comments experienced. Their policy on returns is a rip-off, and I will not buy anything else from Kohl's. Theses are the rules for returns that are not clear; If Amazon gives me a discount and I return the item they refund me the line item price I paid. Kohl's takes your refunded amount and takes away the discount from the line item price and refunds the balance----not cool and deceptive marketing. Never again. Here are the reprinted rules: The item must be the same price, it cannot be over and cannot be below, it MUST BE THE SAME If you used a discount code then you WILL NOT be able to return the item If all the of above are met then the item needs to be the EXACT SAME BRAND of the clothing item you are exchanging (this is close to impossible). Smarmy management and shady sales practices. Now I'm stuck with 2 jerseys sized LT that do not fit around the torso and can't return except for another Tall size that will not fit the torso of most men who are regular L or XL. Ironically the website infers that you can wear the LT like a regular size. Misleading and...
Read moreI've been a Kohl's customer for years, and I have shopped at at least a dozen Kohl's stores in several different states, so I'm not just griping when I say I'm very disappointed with the way this particular store is run.
The selection is very poor, particularly when it comes to Women's Plus. I always find myself wandering around with an empty cart alongside several other plus-sized women, all of us looking frustrated.
The aisles are consistently a huge mess — I expect some amount of jumble and disorganization from a busy store, but many areas seem to have more merchandise laying on the floor or pulled out of its packaging than actual stock.
The dressing rooms are also usually very messy and crowded. Someone actually walked in on me the last time I used one, and I was not sure if it was an employee or just some weird woman trying to reclaim the dressing room she last used... Luckily I had just gotten redressed. It would be nice to see actual floor staff periodically monitoring the dressing rooms and keeping them neat, though.
The cashiers have always been friendly enough, though the check-out lines are sometimes normal, sometimes one-big-random-line-that-runs-the-length-of-the-store-and-confuses-everyone. The customer service desk tends to be understaffed, but once you do make it to the desk, it is quick enough if you have all your ducks in a row.
Overall, I think this store needs better organization and floor management. Reassess who your customers actually are and rebalance the amount of floor space and inventory to have more items and a dedicated section for us non-petite ladies.
Clean up the floors, neaten the shelves, accurately label things and put batteries in the price signs, widen the space between the racks so I can fit my cart through, and make the check-out lines...
