Have been going to this store for over a year and every time I go, there has always been an awkward moment for myself or someone else while waiting for lines at checkout. Only at this grocery store you have to think twice or feel guilty about standing in a separate second line for checkout even with 2 cashiers. Workers are generally nice but I dont know if workers have conveyed the issue to the manager or managers because there has always been some kind of minor altercation or an awkward situation while trying to figure out a queue for check out. If the store just wants one single line regardless of the no. Of cashiers then JUST MAKE A SIGN! Common sense dictates that if there are two cashiers on separate sides and there are no signs that a person would assume its okay to go to the open cashier. Been one too many times when an innocent shopper has been corrected by fellow shoppers and cashiers both rudely and nicely Management please fix this because it creates an unnecessary conflict. Just make a visible sign or signs Like trader joes. I know for a fact, I am Not the only one who has experienced and observed this issue! If this continues will sadly have to avoid the store...
Read moreAt 6:30pm on Wednesday 3/26/25 I get to a checkout station about to scan my items, a woman with a leg brace that looks to be of Hispanic heritage who I know is the store manager walks over and takes over my self check station to apparently change the receipt tape without acknowledging my existence, I wait for 3-5 minutes, then she looks at the lcd screen and says that stuff is not what you have which looks like meat, she carries my groceries over to the checkout line, says “I don’t know what you were trying to do over there” basically accusing me of trying to steal groceries in front of the entire store, and also wasting everyone’s time. I kept my cool and I like this store but I really should’ve given this manager a piece of my mind because I felt infuriated in that moment. I can give her the benefit of the doubt because it was the end of their day and they were short staffed and the timing of me getting to that station must have confused her. I do not enjoy being treated this way when I’m shopping for groceries. Besides this experience, I enjoy shopping...
Read moreOther ALDIs in the area are better stocked. it is a shame that is store is the biggest in the area and best class location but has very poor supply management and restocking services. Today I visited the store and told cashier Mariana about the half empty shelves that I see every time I visit the store. She gave me a borderline sarcastic response suggesting me to go to commerce street store if I wanted to see more variety. Employees are not very tactful and have given me similar response when asked. Last week I overheard a customer saying "what's wrong with this store" when she saw empty shelves. This is a recurring issue that I have not seen in other ALDI inuding commerce street, seminary road, Duke Street and seven corners. This is the closet store to my home and I regret to say that this is the only Aldi with poor...
