Ive been coming here for 10 years. The service will always vary. There is a black lady, doesnt look friendly BUT she is. i can tell shes a hard worker and shes the only staff that will greet me upon walking in. The men on staff are very rushed to get your order in, no smile, very short. One man did not want to honor their promotion, free cookie with purchase of regular sub, i didnt want to argue, i saw the sign outside and thought i was going to get a cookie. I ended up waiting a longer time than usual to even place my order because the staff was so occupied overwhelmed and rushing to get their catering order done. It seemed the staff did not want to take any ones order while they focused on catering. Its gotten to the point if i see them doing a cater order, i just go to Moby Dick instead to avoid the awkward atmosphere in Firehouse.
Regardless of service, their food always comes out top quality. No missing ingredients, not sloppily made, my sub looks the same almost every time and looks just like the pictures as well. A regular sub will always fill me up. I like to get either mac n cheese or their potato soup on the side, but the quality/consistency varies. Some days its thicker, some days its water. I do love that they extended hours until midnight but it seems like the staff hate that.. maybe my issue is with men in general, but ive never had any icks with the lady....
Read moreVery bad service! I called and ordered a delivery for two sandwiches, they ended up getting the wrong order because the cashier forgot to ask me what size I wanted for those two sanwhiches. I then called back and said I wanted the larger size (since they didn’t ask me what size I wanted) and they said that it was okay to refund, but I just needed to wait a little longer to get the order. I then wait nearly another hour, wondering where my food is at, and I called them back asking where my food was, and then they tell me that they forgot again, and it was my fault that I didn’t answer the phone when they called back to let me know that they pissed about again and that the same cashier lady forgot to get my credit card info for the order....usually they’re good at getting orders right, but this time, I was infuriated! They even had the lip to say that it was my fault and that I should’ve picked up the phone! I was busy after the call and they should have gotten it right in the first place....
Read moreI LOVE FIREHOUSE!!!! I just wish that my wife was a bigger fan of Firehouse, so that we could go more often. We've been to this location 3-4 times since we moved here at the end of last month! All of our experiences there have been really good, aside from the last time where it took at least 30 minutes to get our food, and then my sub wasn't even made properly. I totally get it that it was pretty busy when we were there, but it shouldn't have taken that long to get our food! Not only that, but the man who brought the food to our table only apologized for the delay, and didn't offer to give us a refund (full or partial) or discount on a future visit. Overall, we have enjoyed going to this location, and it seems like most of the employees get along very well! There are like 3-4 that get along super well, but we've unfortunately only ever seen them all there the first time we went to...
