If I could give them a 0 star I would and here’s why. I’ve been here before numerous times to get an oil change for my car. Today 4/15/2025 I went in at 12:53 and got my car checked in for an oil change, and I didn’t get an update about my car until 7:40pm the message stated “ Walmart: Your vehicle service has started! Follow along in the Walmart App with our service tracker . Reply HELP for help; STOP to stop“ my car just started ? How come? That doesn’t make any sense my car has been there for 7 hours and they just now started impossible and then. I asked the front desk and they stated, “ the crew just started on the vehicle should be done soon”. That’s shocking it usually takes maybe 2 or 3 hours but this took a whole working shift? That’s insane. It was finally done at 8:04pm, and I can show the messages too. When I went to the desk they mentioned that the key was missing and that they were looking for it. I was shocked on how you could lose the key? It has a lanyard and not only that, how would you even turn on the car then? It’s a key entry car by the way. After 30 minutes they found it and told me that they were going to give me a 10% discount because they lost the key. I’m over here like 10% off for losing the key what about for spending 8 hours waiting for you to do an oil change? Ridiculous. Where my 90% off I practically worked a whole 8 hour shift waiting for you to finish. I don’t even wait that long at the airport like come on now. Anyways they couldn’t even enter the 10% on the final bill apparently it wasn’t working so they gave me a couple dollars off. I then asked if they were busy because when I was here the entire day I didn’t notice more than 10 cars, and I was here pretty early and I didn’t see any other cars when I lined up at that parking line spots. After I asked if they were busy, one of the workers that brought the car key out to me said “yeah pretty busy” I then asked “ usually it takes 3-4 hours max to complete an oil change, I’m curious on why it took longer than that?” in the most polite way I could say it and the guy stated “I’m about to choke someone” I honestly was baffled I didn’t even know what to say because I didn’t even register in my brain at the time. My friend and my brother was next to me at the time he said that comment and he was next to two of his co workers as well. I honestly didn’t expect him to say that. After a minute or two I wanted to say something but honestly it was too late and besides I didn’t want any problem. Although it was a threat I could’ve involved law enforcement or management but I didn’t because of course like I said my brain did not register that at that moment. Anyways I learnt my lesson if that happens again I would happily involve management and or law enforcement, of course if it escalated. Anyways I hope management sees this review because this was unacceptable and...
Read moreWalmart has gradually exposed its true nature as a company that hides behind a corporate logo while displaying questionable practices. Over the past month, I have made purchases totaling over $2,000 both online and in-store. Recently, I ordered an ONN 55-inch Roku TV and a TV mount for online delivery. The delivery driver dropped the items off at an unknown location and then refused to answer her phone when I tried to contact her. I immediately reported the issue to Walmart customer service and informed the manager of my apartment complex. They assured me that I would receive a refund via email. Given the situation, I decided to purchase a more expensive model that I could pick up directly from the store, which I did.
However, in the middle of the night, I received a generic email stating that because the driver was within the “blue range” on GPS when she dropped off the TV and mount, the delivery was considered valid. This response is both absurd and irresponsible, especially when customers like me are spending significant amounts of money. This policy essentially means that as long as the driver is in a certain GPS area, they can drop off items anywhere—such as in the middle of the street—and the customer is still held accountable for the delivery.
The driver did not even take a picture of the delivery at the correct address. My apartment door has the number clearly displayed, and you need a code to enter the building, which I was ready to provide if the driver had answered her phone. Instead, she stopped about a mile away from my location and took a picture of the ground and the TV box without any identifiable information proving it was delivered to my apartment. This situation is unacceptable. As consumers, we should not have to bear the consequences of Walmart’s poor decisions in hiring unreliable delivery personnel. The picture provided as proof clearly shows the items outside, with no visible proof of address. This...
Read moreThis review is for the cashier named Latifa at the Kingstown store. I specifically rate her 5 stars 🌟 she is super friendly, efficient, and has great customer service. For example, there is a program through united health credits and they give you a card that has a bar code that gives you access to credit for buying healthy foods. Some of you might know of it and how hard it is to use at times because not all cashiers know about it or know how to process the payment. But the difference with Latifa is that she will help to figure it out where as other cashiers think is up to them to decide if they accept it or not and give you a lot of attitude about it instead of a solution. Some of you might have experienced it, it's a hard NO, and another no, a lot of head shaking and then you get a lecture on their policy and other nonsense when you know fully well what the policy is because you've shop there before. It's usually the old African ladies that recently came from Africa that have the least amount of training and the most to say in the worst possible tone of voice. I'm Korean and my family is loud but when receiving money they are quickly humble. When I pay money, I expect better and I don't care where you're from. We are in America, not Africa. All of us, from time to time will get less than good quality customer service these days. It is these moments that I really apriciate Latifa and miss her presence at the cashier line. In an age of self check out, apps, and computers, cashiers like Latifa are precious and very rare. I feel a sense of friendly open communication with her. Other cashiers sometimes feel like a wall and simple things become a break down of communication. I used to be a cashier, I know how hard it is. I hope walmart recognizes Latifa's merit and the customer satisfaction she brings to my shopping experience. I would like to focus on the positive and end my...
