Staples — Local services in Frankfort

Good store if you need to run in real quick and grab something, but DO NOT go there for your copying needs. Today an older gentleman was managing their copy department and I needed 13 copies on cardstock and both employees were standing there doing nothing. I had my three children with me and I was told I needed to wait an hour for them to print my 13 pieces of card stock and they would charge me 30 cents more per paper for the “rush”, or I could come back 7 hours later and be charged the normal price. I decided to call a different staples location and after speaking with the staples in Willowbrook they were able to print my 13 pieces of cardstock in 20 minutes with no “rush” fee, and for 50% less than the Staples location in Mokena. I thought a company would have similar pricing at all their locations, but obviously this wasn’t the case. I was told at the register that the older gentleman was the manager for the copy department, (not a good thing since he didn’t smile once and his people skills are highly lacking). If the Staple store in Frankfort, IL closes at 8pm, what time can you get Services up to?

8pm? Wrong! The answer is 740-745pm

I went to use the laminator and was told it wasn’t up to temperature because they had turned it off already because they were getting ready to close. Well, then say on your Google information for the store that the store doesn’t close at 8pm, it closes at 7:40pm or 745pm, because when you go in there to use the laminator that you can’t use, it might as well have been closed. The clerk did offer to take it, and do it in the morning when they opened at 9am and call me, but I needed it for 730am meeting

So why are so many Staples stores closing nationwide? Is it because of the customer service; or...

NEVER AGAIN. I already despise this so called store. I only used when in an emergency, now I will go out of my way. I will NEVER step foot in here again. The place sucks, nothing is ever in order, place is a mis mosh of items, items NEVER in stock,The employees are HORRIBLE, laziest service ever. Today was the tops 5 people deep in line and 3 cashiers doing anything else except helping customers. and 1 SOOOO sloow cashier working. and the manager is there talking to noone. literally. it was like its a mental ward! Anyway after waiting literally 10 minutes in line, they did not know the price of the clipboard! Then they tried to call someone in back to get the price and no one answered. I said forget this and walk out. never to return! Oh there hours suck too.
