The Great American Bagel — Restaurant in Mokena

First time ordering from here and had an awful experience. I ordered off the app and once I got my order all 13 bagels and cream cheese were thrown in a bag not sliced. I had put in the notes to slice the bagels and the drive thru attendant said “we can’t see that on our end”. I apologized and showed her my notes and she went ahead and sliced them. This order was for a client of mine, so I requested it to be in a box that way it is more presentable. The attendant seemed very aggravated and annoyed and brought the manager out.

The Manager Rosa was not friendly with me from the moment she spoke to me. Did not greet me and gave me attitude because I did not order the “bagel pack”, which comes in a box. I apologized and said I’ve never been here before and the app didn’t give me the option. She continued to give me attitude and would not give me a box even after buying the same thing that comes in a bagel pack.

Rosa should not be a Manager as she is not friendly to customers especially me being a new customer.

Had to change my previous review from a 5 down to a 2. Their bagel sandwiches are great, however their buy 3 get 3 free coupon is only valid for the non-premium bagels. Makes no sense that there isn't even a way to upcharge me for the premium ones (the ones I want to PAY FOR) like the one in south Frankfort allows. I was hoping it was just a system issue rather than a cashier taking their job too seriously, because I mean come on, it's just bagels. Albeit good people, the job isn't that serious. Also their paninis are hit or miss depending on who makes them; they have gotten stingy with their meat, sometimes they're all toasted bread. That parking lot is so confusing. My sister and I came here to get two California bagels and the lady gave us two TOMAZZO bagels instead. We called and lady told us we could come back to get the right one and that she put us on the replacement list. We come back and the lady said that we weren’t on the replacement list when she was the person that we called in the first place. Then she proceeded to say “We don’t hand out free food”. ALL we wanted is for our order to get fixed, we didn’t even EAT THE BAGELS. instead of offering a solution the big lady sat there and argued with us. If you did not want to remake it then WHY SAY your going to put us on the replacement list. Extremely unprofessional and rude employees. Also none of them were even wearing mask!!
